Junk
This was advertised for toys and clothes. I used it two times and during the second use the handle ripped off. It was only halfway full with my 3 month old daughter's laundry, not heavy at all. When unfolded it sits a bit lopsided. You get what you pay for!

Great item. Easy to see what clothes are in there. Holds more than it looks like it would.

Cheaply made, broke on 1st use!
This was so cheaply made that I put one load of clothes in it, went to lift it up and the handles snapped right off.

thin material, small size...
This is a pretty light weight fabric laundry hamper that can be folded to a palm size for storage. The working dimensions are 13"X13"( base) and 20" (height). Before going into the details of this product, I would like to highlight the dimensions one more time since, for many people this will be a limiting factorBased on this dimensions. it is NOT SUITABLE for any type of adult use so I strongly disagree the reviewers saying that it can be useful in dorms or something. Put 2-3 T-shirts and it will be full or it can handle one pair of jeans at most. The surfaces are some sort of synthetic fabric string meshwork which makes it breathable compared to ones that have thicker and non perforated lining. However, that meshwork design makes it weak as well. It came with no defects but very soon it is likely to have small tears due to the weak nature of this meshwork. For the same reason, I would NOT USE it for toys as well. most toys with sharp edges or corners will easily tear it.The only USE, I can think of is may be the light clothing of an infant. Like fabric wipes, small shirts, pajamas etc. It can handle quite a few of those simple extra small stuff and besides by doing this you won't be over loading since the fabric handles are not strong enough to carry anything over 1-2 pounds.Despite its limitations and rather filmsy material, I would perhaps rate it four stars but I found a very similar Bajer Deisgn Pop-Open Laundry Hamper ( I bet the exact same) hamper in amazon which costs $5 while this one is $7, and some reviewers of that product claim they have found it cheaper in some local stores. Based on that I am docking another star and rate it as three stars.Note: This item was provided for free in exchange for an objective review

My RV hamper.
I received a pop up hamper in exchange for an honest review. This just became my go-to camping hamper. Now I know what you're thinking. This is too small to use for a camping trip. Guess what. You'd be right. But I don't use it for an entire camping trip. I only fill it, then do laundry. Let me explain...I have an RV. Not a big one, but it's enough for us. I have a small portable washing machine I found at a yard sale. Enough to do a 2 pairs of pants, 4 t-shirts, 2 pairs of hiking shorts, 4 pairs of socks and the rest of the "undies". This hamper holds all of that. If you don't compress the clothes when you load them into the hamper, you have just about a full hamper. When it's full, I know the washing machine will be full. Perfect for me.The size measures out just like the description. Perfect for that little corner of the RV. After wash day it folds up and is completely out of the way.The material is lightweight, not something you would want to hold a house full of laundry. If you really smooshed clothes into this, you run the risk of tearing the material away from the seams.Since this thing is a pop up, I'm going to assume that it wasn't made for use as a typical house hamper. This is made for RV's, short trips, dorms (?) etc. where you will only be generating a small load. That's the reason for 4 stars. It could be a little sturdier, which is why it gets only 4 instead of 5, but for me this thing is right on.

Light Duty...and I Found the Perfect Use for This
When I got this, it made think of a high-quality net bag in which we are able to dump all of our laundry into. That includes dirty laundry, as well as swimwear that might be what, and therefore heavy as well as laundry that is freshly cleaned coming out of the dryer. This pop-up hamper is NOT designed to do that. It's product description is indeed accurate: LIGHT DUTY. But fortunately, I found the perfect use for it. Read on...Here's an objective rundown of its attributes:+ It's compact when folded up.+ It's lightweight.+ The fabric it is made out of seems to be pretty fragile, so you wouldn't want to put anything heavy into it.We find it useful as a container for rags, which we use to clean up random spills around the house. Previously we wasted a bucket on that function, but this has now been replaced with this hamper which is great fit for us!This item was provided in exchange for unbiased review. When I write reviews, I always remind myself that I read reviews to help me make better buying decisions. So I'm committed to helping you in the same way.∞ PositiveLogic

After a week it is falling apart...
I have had this for over a week. I intended on using it for my daughter’s clothes. She is only four years old. When I opened it, I thought I was sent the wrong item. But then a hamper popped open. Was not really that impressed but placed it in her room. She only placed three changes of clothes in the hamper and the handle tore. How someone had a pair of jeans in this without it ripping is beyond me.It will not stand up straight and it already is torn in a few places and it is just sitting there. I fear the wire is coming out in places too so I don’t think this is going to last long at all. I would never put toys in it. It can barely handle a light load of little people clothes, one toy I would fear would be too much.Sample item provided in exchange for reviewSadly I would not recommend this and think you could find something better at Ikea for cheaper.
