Moderately easy to replace
Replaced the inflation mechanism on two of our Mustang offshore jackets.Tested the old, date-expired ones, and they fired when submerged just over a foot deep.Took a while to install but the instructions in the package are good.There are also re-arm instructions on the jacket floatation bag.They were dated very close to the purchase date so have the full time to replacement available.The Auto HIT system is good for sailing as getting drenched in the cockpit doesn’t inflate the jacket.

I have replaced this before and find it easy and the price was great. I really liked that the out date was several years . You never know when buying off the internet what the expiration date will be but this was great dating.

Replacement recharge kit for autoinflating PFD
Perfect fit and replacement for the original. The kits I received were also dated for 5 years from the date of purchase before they expire. I had read that some buyers that purchased from other vendors got kits that expired in only two or three years. Pay attention to the instructions or view the instructional videos on You-Tube if it is the first time you are replacing these.

expiration date was 5 years and 4 months wich is great
I called the supplyer to make sure the item was up to date stock since they ezpire in 5 years and they were great to deal with.
