Excellent Product - Negative Reviews Are Due To User Error
This is a fantastic product. It is frustrating to read the negative reviews because the users are not following the directions, and I am here to set the record straight. Any time you use a concentrated product, YOU MUST READ THE DIRECTIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY or you risk damaging your plants. The directions specifically state:"Use 1.2 to 3.6 fluid ounces in 10 gallons of water to allow thorough coverage. Coverage of upper and lower leaf surfaces is essential for best results."If you are using a common 1 gallon pump sprayer, that means you must use 0.12-0.36 fluid ounces, or 0.24-0.72 TABLESPOONS PER GALLON. Please read that again: for average concentration, YOU ARE ONLY MIXING HALF A TABLESPOON PER GALLON OF WATER. ***I use a 2-gallon sprayer because I have a large garden, and I only mix ONE TABLESPOON into the entire 2 gallon sprayer.***Furthermore, this is an oil-based product, so you are not supposed to spray it in direct sunlight. Sunlight reacts with oil, which can cause burning. This product is to be applied at dusk once the sun is down to allow it to sit overnight.Of course, if you are going to use multiple times the concentration, then spray during the daytime, you are going to wind up with burnt plants. Please, please, please, read the instructions and use as directed. This product is very strong and a little goes a long way. If you use the proper concentrations, this product will last you a very long time and will not harm your plants. This is a very broad-spectrum, natural pesticide. It will kill everything from the bad bugs to the good bugs (including good bugs like bees, dragonflies, ladybugs, etc.). It is best to spray this after sunset because not only is it safest for your plants to spray after the sun goes down, but pollinators usually aren't active at night, and at night is when the "bad bugs" are most active. Spray as late into the evening as you can manage for best results. Because this product is oil-based, make sure you regularly shake your sprayer because the oil will separate and settle on the top. I shake the sprayer every couple plants to re-mix the oil into the water.Pyrethrin is a contact-killer, so the spray must contact the bodies of the bugs for it to work. Because it is a natural pesticide, it will degrade rapidly. It doesn't hang around long, so make sure you liberally coat your plants to get all the nasty critters. Once it dries, if the "bad bugs" land on the plant, it won't have an effect. Similarly, spraying when the "bad bugs" aren't around in your garden won't help you since you must contact them with the spray. Give your garden a pass-through and check if the bad bugs are present before spraying. Otherwise, you'll just be wasting your time and money.

Does what it promises
This product has multiple uses, including as a dip for animals. I used it, specifically, to get rid of a grasshopper infestation.I only use organic products in my garden, but this year, grasshoppers nearly decimated a lot of my herbs and vegetables. After losing the battle using milder organic products, I purchased this. Pyrethrin is, technically, organic, but that does not mean it’s safe to use without taking precautions. (Also, I’m not sure Southern Ag’s formula is, actually, organic because of other ingredients.) The package tells you to use a face mask and eye protection as well as to wear long pants and long sleeves when applying. It also warns against getting it on your skin. You need to be careful when you’re mixing it and also be careful in how you store it in order to avoid leaks or spills. Nevertheless, this product finally got my grasshopper problem under control.I did not use it on edible plants even though the package said it was safe to do so, but because of all the stern warnings concerning application, I chose to use this only on non-edible plants in the yard and away from my vegetable garden. It worked very well. By using it on non-edible plants and continuing to use “gentler” organic products on herbs and vegetables, I was actually able to reclaim my garden! This is not a product to use indiscriminately on your whole yard but, rather, as a kind of spot treatment where infestation is the worst. Nevertheless, I would, absolutely, use this product again!

Killed my squash bugs
I declared war on squash bugs this year after loosing the battle years prior. I used this product the day after a neem oil application. I use it in a small spot sprayer to eliminate the stranglers. It works dead squash bugs I’m grinning ear to ear. So far I am winning.

Tiny
The picture depicted made this thing look like a gallon which would have been worth the $15.00. I looked all over for it once delivered thinking it wasn't. Once I opened a small box and saw this tiny sample bottle, I thought, WTF?It don't help its sold in liters and we live in a country of gallons, quarts and ounces.I am shaking my head on this one. At least it won't effect mammals and only insects.

Works well
So first off, I was disappointed with the size, I know it told me how much but visually I was like, that will only be only one and an expensive spray. After reading reviews it seemed like the bad reviews were not reading directions well, so I sat down and read the directions. For what I wanted (small garden, tomatoes, potatoes, onions) it said 1.2-3.6 fluid ounces to 10 gallons water.10 gallons? Make up as needed, does not store for more than 24 hours? My garden is only 8 ft by 1 ft, I definitely do not need that much. So I averaged out, and broke it down for what I need for my mini garden.1 eye drop (which is 1/4 teaspoon) to 631 ml water. The size under wowed me until I figured the math. This little bottle, if I do not accidentally tip it over and spill will last me many summers. I do plan on buying some glass eye drops just so I can get the right amounts easier.Mixed it up and put into a spray bottle, it seem to do a great job at preventing pests, even fire ants, which I was worried about as I dug up a huge fire ant home and used that area for my new mini garden. So do not be alarmed by the little bottle, it is extremely concentrated, it will last you and not burn your plants if you follow the directions.Thank you for the great reviews before me to decide on this product, very happy with it.

Works well.
I had an aphid infestation ramping up and blasting them with the water hose was only prolonging my fight. I sprayed this after the sun was going down once all the bees left. Next day all the aphids turned black and died. I sprayed all my veggies 2x 5 days apart, and no longer had an infestation.
