Easiet way to play music from my Droid Bionic to my Yamaha HD AV system
First off my Yamaha RX-V471BL has a port on the face for I-Pod and I-Pad devices but that USB port only works with Apple products. I did try plugging the Bionic into an HDMI port, but the audio would skip. The Droid would play when connected through my HD TV's HDMI or USB ports but I really wanted a direct line to the AV receiver. So being more than a little pissed I bought a few cables and hardware devices to get the best signal from the Droid to the AV receiver, and it turns out this cable is about as good as it gets. After trying all of though methods of transferring music and video the easiest way to listen to music through the receiver is with this cable. Over all this is the best and easiest way to listen to the music on my Droid. Even compared to some hardware devices this simple inexpensive cable works great. Personally I think that it sucks that most of the AV receivers out there seem to only support I-Pod or I-Pad devices, especially when there are so many choices around. Another Thought: Personally I do not like my I-Pods, and prefer the sound quality of my Droid and even my Walkman MP3 and Zune players to the two I-Pods that I own. I have to wonder if apple is influencing these companies.

Awesome speaker audio cable
I have been using the same old cheap computer cable for over 20 years, I just never thought of changing it until recently when I started getting bad crackling on speakers (which a decent quality Bose Companion Desktop Speakers that i use in my computer). Wow am I glad I got this StarTech Gold plated audio cable, the SOUND is some much more clear and also no more crackling coming from the speakers. The price is very reasonable as well. I bought a 15 foot length audio cable but I really didn't need one that long. I would definately order more products from this company.

It does what it's supposed to do
It isn't a super high quality cable but it does the job. I just use it to run an aux signal from my iphone mounted on a phone holder in my car to the front aux input on my car stereo. It works just fine. The signal is strong and clear and the cable is nice and short, just enough to get from the phone to the stereo. It's a skinny cable and nothing fancy but for such a short cable you really don't have to worry much about signal loss or interference. I did't give it 5 stars because it's just okay, not amazing or super high quality though I am perfectly happy with it.

Great quality and value for the price. Works fantastically.
Ran this cable along side of a large assortment of RF coax, network, and power cables, across my UPS, under a treadmill motor, from my PC next to my wifi router, to my receiver, and was amazed there was absolutely no noise from RF or electromagnetic interference. Signal to noise ratio for transfer does break down a bit past 75% volume off the headphone jack/variable output but line output works perfectly. Absolutely great cable for the price. Certainly surpassed all my expectations.

this is a good extension cord
I bought this cord to extend a wired speaker system for the tv. We had a pair of speakers that rest at the top of a recliner and direct right at your ears so it is not for other people in the room.

Works but very flimsy
The photos make it look a lot more sturdy than it is. I do a lot of audio production and needed this kind of cable for some projects in my home studio. I don't think this will hold up long for my use case. It's quite thin. It works and the sound quality is fine. Don't be fooled by manufacturers that tout sound quality as a feature. As long as the cable is made of the correct materials and carries a signal then your human ears are not going to be able to tell a difference between cables (guitar and microphone cables are a little different but 3.5mm interconnects are not something to obsess over). So I have no concerns with audio quality. If you're going to keep it in one place and sort of set it and forget then this will last you a while. If this cable is going to be plugged and unplugged and moved around a bit then I give it a year tops before it fails on you. So far mine is fine but I've just put it in with a box of cables and I don't plan to use it. It just doesn't feel good. I consider this a backup cable for when I have no other options and all my other cables are in use.
