Brand New HD Master from a 4K Scan of the Original Camera Negative! From National Lampoon and screenwriter John Hughes (Weird Science, National Lampoon’s Vacation) comes this very funny teen horror parody set in the hallowed halls of a boarded-up high school. It's been 10 years since Lizzie Borden High School's class of '72 graduated, and everyone—the preppies, the hippies and the in-crowd—has returned to reminisce over good times past. But classmate Walter Baylor has returned too—with a vengeance. While the rest of the gang is misbehaving at its alma mater, Walter, who was a misunderstood freak then and a certified psychopath now, is still not over a prank played on him a decade ago and out to wreak havoc of a different sort. Roger Corman alumnus Michael Miller (Silent Rage, Jackson County Jail) directed the hilarious cast that includes Gerrit Graham (Used Cars), Michael Lerner (Barton Fink), Miriam Flynn (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation), Stephen Furst (Up the Creek), Zane Buzby (Up in Smoke), Art Evans (Die Hard 2: Die Harder), Misty Rowe (TV’s When Things Were Rotten), Anne Ramsey (Throw Momma from the Train) and soap opera legend Jacklyn Zeman (General Hospital). National Lampoon’s Class Reunion will make you scream and shake... with laughter!Special Features:-NEW Interview with star Gerrit Graham -NEW Audio Commentary with director Michael Miller and stunt coordinator Dean Raphael Ferrandini -KLSC Trailers

I loved this movie as a kid. It was always on cable tv. Funny and kinda creepy little movie with a great cast of characters. I was thrilled to have found this available on DVD.

A Lost Classic
A perfect send up of the era's slasher films. I'm not sure if audience's knew what to expect but this is a wonderful sleeper if you're into the films of the era.

Buy with the Expectations of a National Lampoon's Effort
This early entry into the National Lampoon's Franchise is not a great one, but it is intentional. The storyline and spoofs reflect that fact that the actors themselves treat this movie like B-grade fare. But keep in mind it is intentional and only meant for an audience that will be drawn to such movie fare. So for cheap laughs and a sincere lackluster of any kind of seriousness, check out this movie. It is entertaining, but for that specific audience.

Good memories!
I remember watching this movie at a friend’s slumber party way back in 1984. It’s campy but good 80s fun that brought back memories.

Animal House ?
i remember seeing it on telly many many years ago. i described it to a friend in one word "crass", but really laugh out loud funny, the high school rivalries all come out, the jealousies, and revenge, the school dinner ladies fare would ring bells with school kids of the 1960's. with so many tv channels and some films being replayed 2/3 times a week on differing channels, how come this was only shown once in about 20+ years? there are so many channels they must need every film available to fill the time slots, and this one is certainly one which could do that and give the audience a lot of laughs

Hilarious - just as funny as I remembered all those years ago
Hilarious - just as funny as I remembered all those years ago! Nice trip down memory lane. I know some reviewers have said they loved it years ago but upon re-watching it have said it wasn't funny - it is not the film that has lost its humour - its you!!

Bonkers and Great Fun
A little dated but it still came across as funny in a nonstop bonkers' sort of way. It doesn't deserve a certificate 18 but that may be down to the vast amount of weed smoked by Cheech and Chong!Definitely still worth a look and OK for Gran to watch. She may well appreciate the musical number by the great Chuck Berry.
