Recently suffered from a painful heel. It was initially diagnosed by my doctor as plantar fasciitis, but further investigation, with a private biomechanics expert, showed it to be plantar calcaneal bursitis, otherwise known as policeman's heel.Tried a variety of insoles and heel pads, but this was the one that worked best with my sandals and, in conjunction with cold treatment with a "Koolpak reusable Hot and Cold Pack, 12cm x 29cm", has greatly alleviated the condition.Some other insoles were more comfortable, but tended to slip out through the back of the sandals, but these stayed in placed but they do not give any arch support. The soft silicon rubber comfortable spreads the load across my heel and has been a great help.When I lost one and ordered the same again "6-9 UK / Large", from UK Shoes Retail, what I got were much smaller, seemingly "3-6 UK / Medium", so I then ordered "9-12 UK / X-Large", which seemed to be the most suitable for my size 9 feet.I am currently trying to resolve this with the seller, UK Shoes Retail.In case it may help others buying these, from what I can determine, the following width across the base of the silicon heel are;1-3 UK / Small --3-6 UK / Medium 55mm6-9 UK / Large 65mm9-12 UK / X-Large 70mmI am wondering if the 55mm wide were actually the Small size, otherwise there if a substantial difference between medium and large. I wish the dimensions for these heel supports were given as part of the product information. With such heel supports it is the width, not the length, or shoe size, that matters.

It can also be used with other 1/4 hex bits.I had great difficulty buying this, having ordered it from two other suppliers and then told it was "out of stock", but eventually got one from Maintenance Warehouse, but had to pay about £5.60 for delivery, in addition to £15.23 for the screwdriver itself.It is, perhaps, not the strongest screwdriver, but once the screw is started, it can then be firmly screwed home with a more robust screwdriver.Compared to the basic "Draper 02266 Ratchet Screwdriver" with 14 bits, for £4.60, including delivery, this screwdriver is expensive, but the Clip-N-Grip facility is a great benefit.

I used the meat grinder for the first time yesterday making home made raw cat food. I cut up a whole chicken and few it through the grinder, bones and all and the grinder made quick work of it. It's very very loud but as I said it makes quick work of grinding. I will be making sausage next. Can't wait. My only complaint is the grinder comes with 1 large sausage nozzel for making large sausages. I contacted seller about smaller nozzels and they said they don't sell smaller sizes. I don't know but maybe the nozzels all come about same size where they attach? I'm new to this.

I like everything about this bottle. It is easy to drink from as it has a wide spout and an air hole. There is no need to suck. So, if you are very thirsty or needing to take a quick but large swig, this bottle works really well. I like the fact the spout is covered when the bottle is closed so it more hygienic than some bottle designs. It is easy and quick to open when unlocked but the lock provides that extra security when needed. They are completely leak proof and reliable. The transparent lid allows you to see ahead even when drinking. It is easy to clean with no enclosed parts in the spout where mould could grow.

Wanted to upgrade the 3W MiniSun LED in my desk lamp to the 7.5W version.This bulb is significantly larger than the 3W version, so first check that it will fit your lamp.It does produce a much brighter light and fits my old Angle-poise light ok, but it weighs a bit to much for the balancing springs, as I had to convert that to a heavier heat-resistant ceramic SES holder while previously using filament bulbs. With a much cooler running LED a plastic holder would now be ok.Anyway it makes a very good desk light, so now use it over my workbench, with a B22 to E14 adaptor. Have now ordered a B22 version to see how that may be for other light fittings, where a 3W LED bulb is not quite enough.

I wanted a small compact unobtrusive wall lamp to continuously illuminate our indoor stairs. With a 1W LED GU10 bulb this fits the need very well.It is a compact robust unit made of folded and welded sheet steel, not cast steel. It has a frosted glass window which tends to diffuse and spread the light.The housing is completely enclosed and I anticipate with the suggested 35 watt halogen bulb it may be expected to get very hot, so the heat resistant sleeving provided for the connecting wires would be needed. Care may also be needed not to fix it to, or touch, anything that might melt or burn. I would strongly suggest using a long life 5W LED GU10 bulb, which costs around £6, would not get hot and avoids replacing blown bulbs, particularly if the lamp is in an inaccessible position.In a very dark matt grey it is not the colour I wanted, but maybe it could be painted, although with a 35W watt halogen bulb heat resistant paint is likely to be needed.The screws on the side holding on the cover are a bit fiddly and the cover has to be removed to change the bulb. It is also necessary to allow several inches either side for access to the cover fixings screws and an inch or so above the unit to unclip the cover.The unit must be earthed.All-round a very well made robust light, understood to be suitable for outside use, which is ideal for illuminating dark corners.
