I read about these somewhere, and just thought they were cute, but they are great for garlic and ginger, and who knows what else????I sent to others as well, and they have enjoyed them, one of those things that I didn't know I needed, until I bought.

The description totally did not lie when it said it was small. Those who gave bad reviews on how too tiny it was obviously did not read the description! Refer to the pics on size. Quarter to scale. I personally love it shredding the cheese was as I expected it to be. I suggest using some kind of cushion on your palm like a square cloth or something. I didn't but just saying. Looks pretty ideal for grating ginger or something but Monterrey Jack cheese was all I had on hand to try it out. Shreds nicely. This grated doesn't have the huge holes in your regular sized grater so keep that in mind. Shredding thin slices (blue grater in pics) was a little strenuous to work with because if you don't have the correct size to the hole, it will make your cheese wonky but it is still doable it was just something I noticed. This little thing is totally perfect in a pinch for those times where I don't want to pull out and dirty a regular sized grater when I can use this miniature one! Great for garnishes too. I absolutely recommend!

I didn't read anything about this item before I purchased it except that it said Mini Cheese Grater, so I was surprised when I received them and saw how "MINI" they really are, but I bought them to grate soap, which I do a lot and these little things work great. I actually prefer using these over the full size grater for soap now that I've used them. I would buy them again.

I bought these without reading the reviews, which is no fault of the manufacturer. These will be great for tiny tasks like shredding garlic or small pieces of veggies and cheese. They are super tiny—all three fit in the palm of my hand. Make sure to check the specs if you need graters for larger tasks.

These graters are adorable and great for small jobs like grated lemon peel. Works well.

I was happy to receive all 3 mini graters: pink, blue and green. I keep one grater in a small covered Tupperware with a tiny wedge of real parmesan cheese in the refrigerator for emergencies like fresh salads, popcorn, or spontaneous pasta dinners. My husband carries another small container with a grater and a small piece of Parmesan to work in his lunch box, everybody thought it was hilarious and warned him it would be stolen by the end of the day! They are the perfect size for personal portion of Parmesan.

This was way smaller than I anticipated. It is half the size of my thumb. A waste.

I've had one of these for 15-20 years and I just love it for grating ginger!When I saw this three pack, it gave me the opportunity to get one for my RV and also to give one away to two friends.I'm not sure I've used it for anything but ginger. I think it could work with other things, but...what? If I want cheese, I'll always want a larger grater surface. Garlic? That would be difficult because it's hard to hold onto (and it could cause some skin "knicks").But if you want a nice little ginger grater, this is super.
