Stereo Authentic Plastic Vinyl Cruiser Penny Size 22" Skateboard Complete

Stereo did recently change their product just a little bit. I bought one for myself about six months before buying this one for my girlfriend.The most notable difference is the density of the bushings. The bushings in this new board are about as stiff as a standard skateboard's bushings, which if you skate on a regular board, might be what you prefer. This wasn't to my own, or her liking however, because while I was making 180 degree turns around the radius of a sewer cap, she needed to turn on the tail in order to make it around street corners.Also, the nuts on the wheels appear to be way too tight when first assembled (which I guess can be expected on a complete) but with a wrench you can loosen them a little bit which makes a pretty drastic difference. The bearings themselves aren't great and can be infinitely improved by picking up a cheap pair of $10 bearings on amazon or at a local skate shop.All around, it cost me around $50 to buy this complete, $10 for new bearings and about $4 for new softer bushings bringing me to a grand total of $64, which isn't too bad when now, they compete just fine with my friend's penny cruiser (which is essentially the benchmark mini cruiser to compare to) for about 2/3 the cost.

Better than what I expected comes with everything it says had to adjust it a little but besides that it's great nice smooth ride, loved it.

I was not expecting to get on this board after 14+ years of not riding and still manage to stay on. I've read comments about the board's strength, which is in its ability to flex well during your ride. It doesn't disappoint. I'm not one to ever write reviews about anything, but thought I had to after my first ride. Rode through Central Park on the bike path and this board is responsive. Give it a shot.. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
