I have asked 3 different people to try to figure our how to use this compass and they all have just said to send it back. Wish I could. Bought it early for Christmas present, therefore never opened them up to see that you had to have a masters degree in compass reading to use them. Obviously not for a 10 year old granddaughter, no matter how smart she is.

I bought these for my kids. They love camping and hiking. Plus they are more durable than I expected

Using one already. Working just fine while out on the kayak. The rest are stocking stuffers.

Good quality and looks sturdy arrived on time

I was hoping for something more accurate and durable. Great for a kid. Not good for a serious outdoors person.

All four compasses do not point north. When they do it’s because you have to smack the compass a bunch of times. I was trying to teach my son how to use one and he kept walking in the wrong direction because it points wherever it wants.

Cheap. Not what we used in the Army

All 4 points to Alpha Centauri not magnetic north.
