Katsuya Terada 10 Ten (Japanese Edition)

katsuya Terada is an amazing artist. Not only for his great skills, but also for his sense of design and creativity. You will be amazed by the huge amount of drawings in this book. I am an artist myself and I can not understand how he is able to draw so much, so well!!! The only drawback on this book is the size of it, and the size of some drawings. With a rich and detailed artist like him, you want to see the piece as big as possible. Regardless, its not a reason do give less than 5 stars. The artist deserved it. Even if it was a very little book, still I would have bought it. But on the next one, I strongly recommend to make it bigger. Also, even if I always want to see as many drawings from Mr. Terada as possible, to put less pieces, in order to give more room to the choosen ones.Easy 5 star. Strongly recommended.

Fantastic works. He has worked on projects that I never realized. The illustrations range from high level wall art to intricate tattoo ideas.

Bigger!! I know, it's an American thing. This is a gorgeous book. Even my strict Catholic mother scanned it and remarked on it's incredible artworks. This is worth every dime, and that is a rare feat. Now, if only we could get more of his work translated into English.What makes his work stand out is the way he uses charged violence and eroticism without denigrating their power. His designs perfectly meld the mechanical and the organic into a fantastic functionality that would make H.R. Giger proud. Even as he does this it is not cold and alien but human, lively, exotic and often very down to earth.This is an exceptional collection and I can't recommend it highly enough. Just don't get worked up over the small format and small images. That's just the price of a book chock full of creative magic.

I like how the content is divided and how the quality is fair when is needed. Also very nice artist, of course.

If you have seen any of Terada's other art books such as Rakugaking or Zenbu, this is a smaller and lower quality book. The illustrations are still top notch but paper and ink are not of great quality. There are some crossover material from previous books but still lots of newer stuff as well.All in all it is a way to own one of his books without breaking the bank

Wow, what can I say. Katsuya Terada is a master at what he does.. Can't wait to order more Terada books!

Even though I got the Japanese version, the amazing artwork speaks for itself

this book is fantastic. if there was one thing i didn't like is that i find it a bit small compared to most of the art books I have. many of the illustrations would be more exciting if the format of the book was simply bigger. Other than that i am thrilled to add it to my collection of artist books.

What a fanstastic book. He has such a variety of styles... from monsters to superheroes, female nudity and deformed characters in colour and mono.

On y trouve de nombreux personnages, des scènes de groupes. C'est un livre incroyable sur la recherche esthétique, graphique et symbolique de l'auteur. La déclinaison de ses thématiques est à la fois inquiétante et saturée de tracés fantastiques. Le livre est abordable si l'on compare à certains artbooks attractifs mais plus onéreux.

Tem MUITA coisa nesse livro. Valeu cada centavo. Sim, há muitas imagens pequenas e monocromáticas, mas o objetivo do livro é catalogar 10 anos de trabalhos do Terada. Mesmo assim, é tanto conteúdo que vale a pena. Os desenhos são magníficos.Além disso, é possível encontrar tradução para os textos em japonês. Na capa ele explica como.
