Epicurean All-in-One 19.5" × 14.5" Cutting Board, Natural

Recently, I became more aware of the microplastic issue. I had been using plastic cutting boards frequently, because I thought that they held up better in the dishwasher. I hadn't used my glass cutting board in awhile, because I found it large and heavy and not as easy to use. It turned out that I had a 15 year old? Epicurean board in my drawer too, but I hadn't been using it because it was larger, and it did not have a groove for juice. So I did a search of what was available now and I didn't like the wood options. However, I found that Epricurean boards now come in a variety of sizes and now have a groove for juice. I have now been using 3 of these new Epicurean boards in both the 11.5"x9" size and the 10"x7" sizes for about 2 months now and I LOVE them. This time I selected "natural" color and I think it will work out better for long term use than my old nutmeg/brown one, that where I did the majority of slicing, has turned more of the "natural" color. And these smaller sizes are more convenient for me to use regularly. If you don't need the groove, you can flip the board over and use the side without the groove. They say they are dishwasher safe, so I have been putting them in my dishwasher almost daily for the past 2 months and they are holding up with no problems. I see that some reviewers have commented on "dark flecks" in the board color. My old board definitely had a large dark fleck, but it never got any larger over the years. One of my new "natural" color boards has a much smaller "dark fleck", but it does not bother me. These boards are lightweight, practical, and Made in the USA. What is not to love?

I replaced my aging plastic OXO boards primarily due to concerns over microplastic shedding. I was initially hesitant about compressed fiber options, but after seeing friends’ Epicurean boards hold up long-term, I made the switch—and it’s been a worthwhile upgrade. Performance & Durability: - Cutting feels similar to working on slate or butcher block. Knife marks appear early, but blade sharpness holds up better than on hard surfaces. - Although marketed as dishwasher-safe, I hand wash (hot water, soap, sponge) to prolong life. Drying takes about twice as long as plastic but does not impact quality, even after full saturation. - Lightweight and significantly thinner than OXO plastic boards, yet remains highly stable thanks to rubber feet. Both sides are fully usable. -True to measured size (and range of sizes is excellent for varied kitchen use). Care & Maintenance: - Some minor off-gassing out of the box—gone within 1–2 days after a rinse. - Requires board butter every 3 months to maintain surface integrity. - Life expectancy is 2–3 years of heavy use, potentially up to 5 years with lighter workloads. Appearance: - Desirable look to the kitchen set, and can be a cutting board as much as a serving board. Minor Issues: - My board arrived with a surface cut. Cosmetic damage is inevitable over time, so not a major concern. Verdict: Highly recommended despite the higher upfront cost. Protects knife edges, avoids microplastic contamination, and offers a lighter, more sustainable alternative to plastic or heavy boards.

Great size, has rubber feet on both sides to prevent slipping. Can even put it in the dishwasher! I bought this one & the smaller one & I love them both!

This is a really nice, made-in-the-USA cutting board. No plastics or wood shavings. I like that I can run it through the dishwasher. This board (and the other two I've purchased) haven't had any odor at all. Neither of the boards have stained yet. There is some minor scarring. But they don't seem to scar as easily as the plastic boards I've used. It's too soon to understand the wear on my knives, which I sharpen once a year. So far, after a few weeks, my knives are still sharp as ever. I like the non-slip and the juice groove keeps my counter clean, while I work. The peace of mind in no plastic or wood slivers is well worth the price. These are discounted often, as well. Supporting USA manufacturing is well worth it.

Best cutting board I ever owned. Feels good to have one made of non harmful materials, looks great, and doesn't smell like other reviews say. It does bend if you leave it to try, but this is easily handled by flipping it next time when drying. Still very good after a year of use!

I have been looking for a cutting board that will save my knifes as well as rid myself of microplastic risks. This board is the best. And because of its rubber feet it will NOT slip. I guarantee! It's dishwasher safe. It comes in 3 colors. And this one has a fluid channel. I use it for vegetables and meats. It is dishwasher safe. It isn't huge and thick so it is easy to handle and store. It is reversible. The only thing... after I first received it I of course washed it. And it had a smell. An unpleasant smell that went away when dry. I contacted the company and they related that this seems to happen with this color of board. So I dish washed it twice, and the smell is gone. The company assures me the board is non-toxic, and mentioned it seems more prevalent with this color. That being said, I'l still give it 5-stars. Last thing, the company recommends using one of their products to keep it from drying out. I haven't purchased it. So far I don't see a need.

Love! We wanted an alternative to plastic cutting boards, without dulling our knives. This is a great swap! Best of all, dishwasher safe! I love the versatile design- grooves on one side for juicy things, and flat on the other side! Not to mention the grippy corners- no more sliding around! So far, super durable and many sizes to pick from!
