TYC 5210741 Black Exterior Mirror

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry, USA built, and last winter, I spun out on the road and sideswiped a pylon, taking my mirror and a small bit of paint and car body with it. Being a naturally frugal person, I had no intention of paying $250 to a dealer. For a mirror? Really? C'mon, guys, you're not fooling anyone here.After much research, I was eventually led to this product. Now, I am not a car guy - my mainstay is electronics, and the most in-depth piece of equipment I know about on a car is 'the engine' - but I became convinced that this was the right part for my car.Lo and behold, I was right. While not the right color (color-matched manufacturer-specific paint is on its way to me as I write this review), it is almost 1:1 identical to the OEM Toyota mirror. If there are any differences aside from this not being painted, I am unable to discover them - dimensions and tooling are exact according to calipers.Installation was a breeze. Quite frankly, the hardest part was unscrewing the nuts from the previous mirror, which stayed even as the original mirror decided it was best that it and I go our separate ways. Perhaps ten minutes from start to finish.If you are concerned about build quality in third-party replacements for your Camry, put your fears to rest. This item is impeccable in quality, and the price is exactly what I would be willing to pay for a replacement mirror.

So my car's driver side mirror was smashed into the garage side panel while my wife was backing up. This car was just few months old and we both were kind of sad seeing this to happen to our new black camry. I started my hunt to replace it without compromising on the original color match and style. I searched around my city and also at Toyota dealership. All of these guys gave me an estimate of ranging from 220-400 USD. Then I checked local auto-parts store and also junk yards but could not find something on which I dont have to apply paint etc. So I called up one of the toyota after maeket parts seller someshere in Florida who actually has the same product but at almost double price. I took the details of the parts from him and searched over amazon which matched to this one at about only ~$45. Since I had confirmed from the seller at Florida it comes in black glossy finished I decided to go ahead and order it from amazon. Its been more than 10 months now since I have it on my car, I never painted it and no one can tell if its after market. Mine is heated one and it has not given any trouble or malfunctioned during all these severe winter of Michigan.I would recommend this for every black camry of 2011 model and equivalent and you dont have to paint it to match it your car and save your money.

When my mirror broke, I bought the defrost model because it wasn't much more expensive and I couldn't find any comments on whether it would work on my car - which didn't have defrost originally (there is no separate switch, it is supposed to come on with the rear defroster). It fits perfect and the wiring harness plugs right in but it does not defrost so there must be something else that needs to be done. It wasn't important enough to me to try to figure it out and do a lot of searches online or work under the dash.Bottom line is that the power adjustments work great, and it is really really easy to install. If you had black mirrors in the first place, you don't need to do anything else.

Ordered this yesterday afternoon with 1-day delivery and already have it installed about 24 hours later! Install is extremely easy.Unfortunately my 2007 Camry Hybrid has body-color matched mirrors (blizzard pearl white) and all replacement mirrors I've found come only in black, so I'll have to look into painting this one to match the passenger's side mirror. Or else I might just order this same model for the passenger's side and go black all the way ;-)Update 3/23/15:After driving with this for a while, my only complaint is that the glass/mirror is definitely not as high quality as the stock Toyota one. It has a slight fish-eye effect, where straight lines curve away at the edges of the mirror. The stock Toyota mirror was perfectly flat and had no image distortion. That said, I've decided not to reduce my rating since this mirror is over $100 cheaper than a direct Toyota replacement, and therefore I really don't expect it to be perfect. It is certainly better than the shattered remains of the stock mirror I replaced.

This was a good replacement for our 2011 Toyota Camry. It fit well and didn't have much issue installing it. It came in flat black and our car was white but it look cool with a blacked out side mirror. The electronics worked fine with the new mirror. It was a great price compared to OEM from Toyota and plus it's hard to tell it's aftermarket.

It fits my Camry 2007 XLE and operates fine with my car's adjustment controls. Very easy to install. A regular screw plier is needed to remove the nuts & cable from your existing mirror that you're replacing. If you try to get it done at a repair shop, they'll charge you at least $100.

It fits perfectly to my Toyota Camry 2009; however, the finishing coat of this mirror does not match my car completely. Recommend buying a glossy top coat/spray if you are picky about the general appearance. Other than that it is just a minor difference, color matches perfectly.

Easy installation,took me 5 minutes,good product so far.
