Perfect for its purpose
I bought this because I have a hand condition that makes my fingers less sensitive. Having a textured surface on the keys makes them easier to feel and less slippery. Warning: be very careful when applying each key cover. The adhesive works very well, but if you touch it with your fingers or re-apply because you did not properly center it or put it on the wrong key, it may adhere very poorly. You've got to get it right on the first try.

Great for newbies
Got these for my daughter learning to play the flute. She loves them, let's her know she has her fingers on the right spots without looking first!

Useful for Left-Hand Index Only
I am an advanced flutist--post graduate conservatory--on my way to becoming a pro. After some testing, I have found that the left-hand sticker (for the base of the index finger) is really the only useful piece in the set. (This was confirmed by a colleague of mine who is of about the same proficiency as I am.) That is because the digits of the hand perspire during play. The materials used to manufacture the stickers become slippery when this happens - antithetical to its purpose. Furthermore, they don't stick well to the spatulas (G# and D# keys) unless you carefully secure them with rubber bands for over 24hrs. (If you decide to do that, then be sure to use sealing wrap or some other type of soft material over the flute and under the rubber bands to prevent permanent markings.) Even still, they are likely to fall off, especially by beginners...and even on up to professional players who dramatize their fingerings. Obviously, they are not made for open hole flutes either. One more thing, the design of the right-hand thumb sticker should be wider or longer across the length of the tube. Students of the flute need to increase their sensitivities over time, i.e., mature. Unless they are following exacting instruction, they should be allowed to adjust their concept of grips and hold as their theories about playing change. Let them test new ideas and let them be wrong during development. Conditioning poor holds, believe it or not, actually and advantageously strengthen other positive aspects, target certain muscles, and license them with their own artistry. Getting something wrong the first few or many, many times will really help them to understand what is right later on. Feel me? Have faith. That said, as stated above, I do like the left-hand sticker for the base of the index. For that, and that alone, it's a worthy purchase. Plastidip is a viable alternative for "anti-slip" applications, but you will have to remove the mechanism.Ps. I have three patents for stringless technology which pertain to the learning of violin family instruments.

Overall helpful
These were really helpful in showing my son where to put his fingers and mouth but the mouth sticker didn't stick for too long. We need to constantly adjust it as it becomes less and less sticky.
