I wish the color wasn't a really fake cheap imitation bronze. I spray painted mine. Other than the color being bad it worked well to replace the missing lock works on my antique hutch.

I love Amazon when you need to find some obscure part or items - like this lock. We bought this to replace a broken lock on a doll cabinet. Trips to Home Depot and Lowe's came up empty - but a 5 minute search on Amazon found an exact replacement. Another 10 minutes to install and wifey is happy again.

I used this lock to repair a very old desk that has been in my husband's family for over 70 years. We inherited the desk with a hole and a missing lock so I was concerned about it fitting correctly, but it did. See the pictures.
