As a housewife who does a TON of cooking and cleaning every day, I spend a lot of my day in an apron. I've had one from a pricey mall kitchen retailer, and I would wear it literally every day as I worked around the house in the kitchen and elsewhere. I decided I needed another one so that when one gets dirty, I would have another one to wear while the first was in the wash. I actually went to the Pricey Mall Kitchen Retailer website to look for the same brand I already had, but the sticker shock stopped me. Do I really need to pay $50 for an apron? I decided... Nahhhhh. Off to Amazon I went! I found this one and was at first suspicious because of the low price, worrying that the quality would not be good. I decided to take a chance and order it anyway, and I am SO GLAD I did ! Honestly, while the material is not quite as thick as my Fancy Mall Brand Apron, this one is JUST as good in every way! It's thick enough to protect my clothing from food and cleaning products. It is plenty big, giving me good coverage. The neck strap is comfortable and adjustable. The ties are plenty long so that I don't have trouble tying it myself in back. And -- the MUST -- the POCKET! I do housework and cook while listening to music or podcasts on my phone, so a pocket is a must to hold my phone. Honestly, this bib has everything I wanted and is a super cute and flattering design! This bib for less than $10 is just as good, just as functional, and just as cute as my Fancy Mall Brand Apron, and I am SO glad I made this purchase! If HOMWE comes out with an adorable floral print (I am a super girly girl), I might end up with a third apron in my collection. (HINT HINT!!!!)

Cooking is my passion but messing my clothes up while I do it is not; so I wear an apron regularly in the kitchen whenever i’m cooking or cleaning up. I’m hard on aprons and need a sturdy one that can take abuse and still look good. I prefer heavyweight fabric that will not only keep my clothes grease and spot free but also one that doesn’t allow my clothes to get wet while I’m slinging soapy dishwater around cleaning up after myself. This apron fits all those requirements so far. I’ve had this apron about two months and have worn it daily. I’ve only washed it once and it still looks like new...no fading or shrinkage. There are several things I really like about this apron in addition to the heavyweight fabric: 1. It is a generous size so it fully protects my clothes. 2. The belt is long enough that I can wrap it around my not skinny waist and tie it in the front so that it doesn’t keep coming untied. 3. There is a large easily accessible pocket in the front to hold things like an instant read thermometer, timer and or hot pads, etc. 4. Did I mention that it looks like new after washing it once? 5. The neck strap is fully attached and adjusted with a buckle instead of tying so that those pesky loose straps don’t get in the way. 6. It lays flat across the chest instead of buckling like so many others do. 6. The stripes are very attractive. 7. It’s a dark color (black with white stripe) so stains don’t stand out. Hopefully serious stains like tomato sauce and grease won’t show up badly in the future or will mostly wash out. 8. It is very reasonably priced. I plan to get at least one more for myself. My girls are going to be getting one from Santa this year as he really appreciates keeping his clothes clean in the kitchen too.

It's a really nice apron. Fit's me perfectly with very little adjustments. I'm 5'4", Male, athletic build as a guide. It can easily fit taller or shorter with it's neck strap adjustment. I just used it first time cooking a big family gathering, so I am hoping it will become *more absorbent after a few washes to wipe hands easier. Like the pockets with the trim, so they feel more structured. I would give it 5 stars if the *straps were long enough to wrap around to tie in front. You have to tie it behind you.

I bought this same apron a year ago , really liked it, so looked for another when I wanted a second apron to rotate in washing. I chose the one from the other company that is the same price and looks the same, but they had a front pocket style that looked more useful for my needs. Both said they had 40” ties. When I got that one , it wouldn’t wrap around and knot in the front comfortably like this one had.... So I reordered this one and returned the other. THIS ONE IS 44”, NOT 40” on each tie. I am a women’s 3x-4x(26-28)and my waist is 54”. I cook sitting down because of disabilities so there’s more pressure. I can wrap this around the back, then bring it around front and knot it and still be able to breathe! The knot comes out easily because of the fabric finish. This is also sturdier fabric, the seams are better, the straps and ties are sturdier. This one is stiff when you first get it, but it loses that in a wash or two. It doesn’t smell. The other smells of chemicals. The stains have come out easily without pretreating. IN CONCLUSION,especially if you have a larger waist like mine, I’d buy this one, plus the quality is much better, and it doesn’t smell! ( I was in no way paid or enticed to do this review, and did not do it as part of a promotion. )

Love the style and look of the apron

This apron is made of a sturdy material that should last some time. Get as many as the number of cooks you expect to be using your kitchen at the same time. 'Out of the box' the material is quite stiff, but I haven't washed the apron yet. I expect it to get a little less harsh after a few washes. The neck loop is easy to adjust and readjust, the black color won't clash with what you're wearing underneath, and the stripes will probably help to disguise nasty stains. Mine doesn't seem to have stained yet. That may be due to the stiff and rather harsh feeling fabric. If you like to surround yourself in warm fuzzies, this apron may not be for you. Don't count on doing much with the pockets. They are rather small and tight. They might hold a wooden spoon or something like that, but the spoon end would be in your way. The ties are definitely long, as advertised. I have to pass them around to the front to tie them, and then I have that big bow in front of me. The apron itself is not very long. My two previous aprons were both considerably longer. Maybe if you're under five feet tall you will find it a better length.

So cute and the material is strong and will last for a long time!!! Love the long ties for those people who are a little bit “chunkier”.
