Blue Light Blocking Computer Gaming Glasses 2 Pack

Surprisingly good glasses!!
Okay, wanted more time to review before the big review, but Amazon begged, and I am obligated. (JK I got that one email that one time)So, no paid review here. I have a few things to say about this product.1) The item a: To those that hold displeasure to blue wash, or a lack of blue in games: Do you not understand what these glasses do? A yellow film has been applied to reduce blue colors... that's what they're for. There's more to it, but layman's terms = that's about it. So, in effect, whining about blue wash for glasses that are made to reduce blue colors... yeah. (This coming from blue gamma ray reduction insight, btw) But for the buck, there is a shade of yellow (duh) but blue reduction is so non-problematic, that it's not noticable, it's white that is affected most (duh). b: To those that are wanting military grade scratch proof hardware: Put some freaking invisi-shield on them! They're 13 dollars for crying aloud. That's less than half the price for a pair of shades from the corner store (per pair). So, just stop. I've had mine for a short time, and take them to work and home (Heavy computer in both locations), and they got scratches. Big deal. If a scratch the size of a gel pen-tip is too big, you need some serious glasses. c: Gunnar glasses at Best Buy are 50 dollars for what your physics professor would wear, and 70 for what your bible-thumping chemistry dad would wear. These look and wear similar to what I imagine reading glasses would (I have no visual impairments, so I can't imagine, truly) but my GF that does wear glasses, they wear like a cheap brand. To me, the spring frames fit snug, and feel a lot better than the all-plastic sunglasses I'm used to, which, btw = sale.2) The packaging a: apart from about killing my cats from heart attacks by popping the packaging plastic, using the glasses' case to clean the things is about as multi-tool as using the box to store them, so I'm giving that "meh" status.3) Delivery a: they arrived on time, as expected. I paid for next day shipping and got it, what can I say?4) Condition of item a: no issues, and that includes untoward scratches or defects of any kind, visible to this moment, and we have used them well...Overall: I am proud of this purchase, and happy with the outcome. I can't say anything toward true sleep deprivation, as I work 12s, and cant say anything as to comfort, as I don't wear glasses for a living, except to say that my GF thinks they feel "like cheap glasses"I personally have no qualms, and am thankful that I can splurge for the cost of a Mcdonalds meal to get two pair of these.

High quality frames, and the glass (a day later) does seem to reduce eye-strain at the computer
It's really too early to call these glasses "5 stars"--unless you've put them on and experienced instant, unmistakable removal of eyestrain--"from" reading a computer screen and "while" reading the small print from that same screen. That was my primary consideration in ordering these glasses. A secondary one was obtaining a shade dark enough to eliminate the nasty blue rays we've heard so much about (maybe not so much from your opthamologist---he's more likely to be informed about the harmful effects of UV rays). What you can be assured of is getting two excellent pairs of glasses, averaging out to under $5 per pair. The fit is, at least in my case, "just right," even for my narrow head--no adjustments needed. The frames and glass look and feel as good to me as the $200 specimens I find on the display racks at my local eye doctor's or at the big stores' eyeglass departments. And it's reassuring to see that each pair comes in a silk-like protective pouch inside a stiff, protective, branded box along with the manufacturer's assurances that you have made not only the most economical choice (no room for argument there) but also the best decision when it comes to protecting those peepers!Cataract removal is not necessarily a stressful procedure--but it can be quite inconvenient and drawn out, rendering your old glasses worthless and saddling you with lenses that simply can't satisfy your unique needs as a see-er, much less a close and attentive reader of texts, including the one that is the world around you. So in the interim a pair of these can be effective as stress relievers, actual and imagined (because I've had glasses resting on my nose since the age of 6, I feel unsettled--even identity-less--without some comparable replacement). At first, I was in disbelief concerning these glasses--they appear untinted when compared to the light yellowish tint that's apparent on the pictured pair. But now that I'm convinced they indeed are tinted and that they reduce a small amount of glare, I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. Moreover, the previous orange pair I had ordered from Amazon were so dark that, while they may have filtered out the blue light, they did so at the expense of all other light. So given the choice, these get my vote--1. they're lightweight yet "substantial"; 2. they fit; 3. they're not overly aggressive about removing you from a world of light and color. Can't ask for much more than that--not at these prices.

Solid glasses. Great price
These glasses do exactly the job they're designed for. After using them for ~6 months whenever I can/remember to, I've noticed less strain in my eyes, causing less headaches and making it easier to get to sleep at night. The yellow tint is noticeable the moment you put them on, but after about a minute of looking at anything your eyes start to "ignore" it essentially. I never notice the tint now, until I take them off that is. The frames aren't the sturdiest, but they're durable nonetheless. My only real gripe concerns cleaning them. The carrying cases that they come in are designed to act as cleaning cloths as well, but don't always accomplish the job. Usually they just push dirt and dust to the edges of the frame. I ended up using my shirt once (bad idea), and there's been hair and fuzz on them ever since. Even using a lint-free cloth for prescription lenses couldn't fix it. Eventually I just ran them under water and cleaned them that way, but still, they're a bit of a hassle if you get something that isn't just a smudge on them.Overall, fantastic style, quality, and value for this price. Definitely worth it for someone entertaining the idea of using tinted lenses for work/gaming but doesn't want to shell out more than a few bucks.

Great Value and they Work
These are a great value for the money. The anti-glare works well, and given the price, they are relatively comfortable. Of course, don't expect them to be as comfortable as tailored prescription glasses, but if you work a lot at the computer or close to a sunny window and want a bit of help to keep your eyes from getting tired out and being exposed to too much sun, these are a great idea. I have a medium-sized head and I was worried they would be too small, but they fit just fine. You get two pairs and they each come in little carrying bags that are great for when you're on the go.So overall, if you want a good value anti-glare pair of glasses, or in this case two pairs, this is a good bet.
