Best mascara ever!
I loooooove the Japanese mascara but Fairy Drops is my favorite because it goes on really dark and black. I have minuscule eyelashes, so this mascara almost makes me feel like I'm wearing fake eyelashes. It goes on a little clumpy which I love because again it makes big black eyelashes which is my style... It even makes it look like I use eyeliner on my bottom lids saving time! The thing that makes this stuff so incredible is that my eyes water, I rub my eyes, I yawn which makes me cry a little during the day. With all other mascara within about two hours into the day I look like a raccoon. This mascara stays on all day and if it does come off, it comes off in microscopic balls or flakes that I just wipe away with my finger unlike other mascara that I have to scrub with a soap covered tissue to get out from under my eyes. It's easy to remove without eye makeup remover too.I love that they ship this from Japan so it's fresh and Prime shipping??? I can't believe it. Because of the shipping from Japan--come on don't get mad if you can't get it in two days! Amazon has us too spoiled... Oh and in my lifetime I've probably tried over 50 mascara so trying to find the perfect one and this is it.

THE. WORST.
AWFUL. I was really hoping this mascara would fill the sad, gaping hole left by the discontinuance of Scandal Queen, which was the most perfect, amazing mascara EVER, but nope, the Quattro Film Type mascara is a hugely over-priced disaster.FIRST: The design sucks. The piece in the tube that's supposed to scrape off excess mascara doesn't work well, so the brush pulls out too much mascara with random blobs of it in places. Then, the brush bristles are waayyy too short, especially for such thick mascara with fibers, so the bristles can't properly pull through your lashes to distribute the mascara and the mascara just kinda blobs on. I included some photos below to try to show the blobs and how short the bristles are, but I'm not sure if you can tell (black mascara on black bristles is hard to photograph). Where there aren't blobs on the brush, the mascara lightly coats the corresponding lashes, resulting in a very uneven, lumpy/chunky application. And you can't even use the brush to try to distribute the mascara through your lashes evenly because there's still too much mascara on it due to the crappy scraper-thing, so if you try to do that, it just globs on more mascara and now you're starting to look like a toddler's puffy paint art project.SECOND: Usually you can even out even the clumpiest mascaras using an eyelash comb after the mascara dries a bit. But not with Quattro because combing it actually pulls off large chunks of the mascara (I think because it's so clumpy/chunky on application, it all sticks together and comes off in pieces). So the length gets all uneven because the fibers lengthen your lashes, but the combing pulls off some of these fibers. And the volume becomes patchy and there are literally gaps in the mascara. There have been a few times where it looked like I had a floating eyelash because black mascara covered half the eyelash, then there was a gap of light-colored natural lash without mascara, and then the mascara continued at the tip of my eyelash. I've never had anything like this happen with mascara.THIRD: I don't know this for sure, but I swear my eyelashes got shorter and thinner because of this mascara. They were very long and thick because I've used GrandeLash and LiLash for a long time, but a couple months after using this Quattro mascara I realized my lashes were noticeably thinner and shorter, even though I was still using LiLash. I was still using this mascara even though I didn't like it because it's SO expensive, but I stopped using it when I realized my lashes looked thinner/shorter. It's only been a couple weeks since I stopped using it so it's too soon to know for sure if it's the mascara.I'm 33 y/o and I've tried A LOT of mascaras, and this is the worst mascara I've EVER used. Most of the mascaras I haven't liked are because they smudge too easily or don't add enough length or volume, but those problems are fixable by adding a second mascara and/or layering. But this mascara is in a class by itself--it's not fixable, causes a mess, and possibly hurts your eyelashes. I don't usually have such strong feelings about a product, but this mascara is THE WORST.

just as good as the scandalous
I have always been a HUGE fan of the fairy drops scandalous mascara. So I was super disappointed when Sephora discontinued that line. I found this mascara on Amazon and works just fine. I haven't seen much of a difference from this formula except that it might be darker and thicker.

I've always been a huge Fairy Drops fan and this didn't disappoint. It's the perfect dark fiber mascara that lengthens your lashes without them looking clumpy and "spidery."

Love love love this mascara. It's the only one that makes my lashes long and that doesn't smudge and make me look like a raccoon!
