Into the Wild: Warriors, Book 1

My 16 year old granddaughter had me watch the animated story of this book and I was hooked. I love cats and this book gave me a whole new perspective on their species. Can't wait to read the next book in this series. We'll done Erin Hunter, thankyou..

My daughter is absolutely enthralled by the first book of the Warriors series, "Into the Wild" by Erin Hunter. This captivating story has inspired my daughter to create her own book. Erin Hunter's storytelling is truly remarkable, captivating young readers with every page. The emotional depth of the series reached its peak in the fifth book, where (SPOILER WARNING) Bluestar's heroic sacrifice, drowning to save Firepaw/heart, moved her deeply and brought tears to her eyes. Hunter's ability to evoke such powerful emotions through her characters is simply amazing.

Warriors is such a good book and so many of them I hope to read them all so here I go into the giant series

A perfect blend of children's adventure and fantasy. This book was a great introduction to the series. The plot is not intricate but is simple, entertaining, and easy to follow. It also effectively introduces the universe of Warriors to readersI was pleasantly surprised by the simple details incorporated into the narrative elements of this story. The small details, cat names, clan rituals, descriptions, and even dialogue tags bring an immersive experience of the "cat world" to the reader in a way that isn't comical or unbelievable. I could honestly envision the cats speaking, purring, meowing their dialogue like a cat version of the Lion King.I'd definitely recommend this to a young - or young at heart - reader who likes straightforward adventure novels with just a hint of fantasy. Cat lovers would also find it easy to sink their claws into this book.

This is a great story about cats living in the wild. The only bad thing was the handlers somewhere along the line of boxing up for shipping tore the sleeve jacket.

I read these books first in middle s book and some in high school. Recently I found one the newer books in the series and it sparked my love for these books again. They’re great reads!!

This was part of our self imposed summer reading program. Not only is it a great read, it is even better on Audible!

Very active and loving as the main character Rusty as he starts off his new life as being a new recruit in Thunderclan. It's really great and I'm excited to learn more in the next books!
