Arcopedico Women's Shocks 5

Love this bootie, but I did need to make a couple of modifications--hence the 4 stars instead of 5. First I cut the elastic lace and pulled it out of the shoe. I liked the little gold metal charm at the bottom so I made a small loop, cut it short and sewed the end. I then threaded a standard pair of black shoe laces through the sewn loop and used them in the shoes instead. With the little gold charm still at the bottom, they look exactly the same, but I can now unlace them to put them on and also adjust the laces looser in places to accomodate foot issues. Second, I added a standard Dr. Scholls innersole to add a little cushioning and absorb sweat. Now, these shoes are a favorite. They are comfortable, wonderful to walk in, and all my friends have complimented me on how hip they look. I am not wild about the "starry night" color options, I wish they came in more solid colors.

Not as comfortable after wearing them for a few hours. The knit doesn't hold your feet in place, so you will skip around and over the edge of the hard plastic sole. I bought them on the smaller side, so this is troubling. It's blister material if you were to walk a lot for the day. The idea is better than the reality.

I bought a pair similar about 8 years ago. They were a brushed microfiber. I just recently needed to retire them. I just wore them out.These have the same soles but the body of them is like a sock. They look like a tennis shoe.I love them. So cute and like wearing socks with a sole.I have these nodules on the bottom of my arch so I need support and an arch. I get all what I need.I live in the south so they are perfect. Not sure they would be good for Chicago.After all day of wearing these I feel great no pain or tired feet.Highly recommend.

I really love these booties. I've bought 6 pair of their sneaker style so I wanted to try one of their booties. They are very comfortable, good-looking and made well. All Arcopedico shoes are 1st rate. I wear 8 1/2 narrow shoes but because I wear so many of their shoes I knew to order a 40 (size 9) and they fit perfectly. I like the no-tie shoe laces --- they still hug your feet. Can't say enough good things about Arcopedico shoes, booties, etc. With their shoes I no longer have toe spread problems as the material stretches but still supports. My favorite shoes/booties. Highly recommend.

My 3rd pair of Arcopedico shoes. I have two pair oxfords. These shoes are supremely comfortable. Having read the reviews I knew that they did not have regular laces but rather elastic laces giving a pull on effect. That did not work for me but to my delight a pair of regular laces were included in the box. I removed the elastic and laced up with the laces provided. Perfect!

Too tight around the ankle, and I am not heavy ... usually wear medium clothes. So if it's so tight when the ankles are zipped that it stops my circulation, then it's poorly designed. But they are super comfortable, even though I've had foot injuries. So I just wear them unzipped.

I bought a pair of Arcopedico boots in Santa Fe six years ago. They have been my favorite boots and they still look great. They are very comfortable. When I saw the new style with a knit-like top, I ordered them. They are perfect.

I love this brand. For my wide feet, with high insteps, these are soft and flexible, and very comfortable. They look like high tops, even better.
