Marine Mammals

Generally good text, well written and clear. My only complaint so far is that sometimes the illustrations could be clearer. For example it would be helpful to actually indicate in a line drawing of a skull where the frontal bone is rather than describing where it is with words. Other places a paragraph may be used to describe an anatomical feature where an illustration would have been much more helpful.

Book was used-acceptable and when it came, it had a couple of dents on the binding. But that was to be expected. Other than that, the book was absolutely pristine. Also, it received it within 2 days!! Excellent service.

One marine biologist should have this book. People who read this should have some knowledge about anatomy and general marine biology or have these books near by while reading. This book has also have glossary with explanations for some important words. It summarizes lots of articles and advances from recent and earlier years. Often has neutral view by describing several approaches that has been discussed recently.

Many informations that no book or site is able to offer other way !

Great book.

An excellent well written comprehensive textbook on marine mammals evolutionary biology. Highly recommended for both professionals and non professional wishing to deepen their knowledge on the biology of marine mammals.
