Does NOT charge iPhone... iPhone states not supported device
I purchased this cable with the intent to use with a Patriot Fuel+ mobile recharge battery. Many of these are on the market -- charge via USB type A to Micro USB, then flip the cable to the other end to go USB Type A to Micro USB (to adapter as needed). My intended use with this cable was to not need to worry about a separate Micro USB to Lightning adapter and rather have it all in one cable. The short length of 6" was desirable for this application as well.Unfortunately, when I first plugged in the cable to the battery pack and tried to charge nothing happened. Odd, but ok, so tried reorienting the lightning connector. This prompted a message on my iPhone "not supported device". I then eliminated the battery pack from the equation and plugged directly into AC to USB adapter -- same result.In short, if you purchase this cable for this intent, it is a crap shoot at best if it will work with your iPhone. Upon careful inspection of the package they don't actually list "iPhone" simply "mobile device". Well I sure haven't seen any other "mobile device" adopt the lightning connector so not exactly sure who their market is if it isn't going to work with iPhones. I will be returning tomorrow.

Updated review. I had given this 5 stars but after April 15, only 9 weeks after purchase, the Apple lightning connection no longer works. There is no damage or misuse so I conclude poor design or manufacturing, likely the latter as the design appears fine. Will replace it with a different company.

This is a great cable if
This is a great cable if, like me, you carry one Android (personal) and one Apple (work) phone and use Android Auto and CarPlay. The shorter cables are easier to manage in a car with the USB mounted at the base of C-stack and near a storage compartment.

After carrying it around in a safe place in my laptop bag for 2 weeks and using this about 10 times (connecting my phone to a battery pack to charge) it now only cuts in and out of charging constantly saying "this accessory is not supported"

Practical and durable
It's a good durable one and I like that it has the extra connector size but I wish the caps would stay on better. Other than that, the length is perfect and works with my iPhones

We use a LifeProof case for our phones. In order to use these chargers, we have to remove the case. They are great otherwise, just a hassle.
