If you’re a fan of the show I wouldn’t recommend the books and vice versa but the books are great

Keeps me on the edge of my seat
I’m obsessed with PLL and I can’t get enough of the book series or TV series. Sara Shepard is so clever and witty. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I never know which twist or turn is coming next!

Typical for a PLL book
I thought the overall story arc was right in line with what you'd expect from a PLL book. The story was well paced and kept me interested with the twists, both good and bad, throughout the book. I will say that I missed the usual A notes as they were not present in this book. Now to read the final installment of the series.

Pretty Little Liars Toxic
******May be some spoilers*******Well, let's see. I happen to be a GIANT PLL fan, so of course I liked Toxic. love love loved it! The plot twist at the end, whew! I honestly don't know if I can wait till December! Obviously, one of my favorite part s was Noel and Aria, and everything that happened there, but I really did like the book. One thing I did notice was that the whole scene at the end with Noel and Aria seemed a lot like in Ruthless, but whatever. I'm glad things turned out the way they did! Overall, immensely satisfied!

Just okAy At best.
In this go around, the Pretty Little Liars have tried to move on with their lives, and put the entire A thing past them, and they know that Alison is out there, even if nobody believe them, including the police and the FBI.Hanna: She's found her acting bug, and is encouraged to star in a movie about what happened to them. Hanna befriends the girl who is to play her. A few things happen, and Hanna is thrusted into the lime light, even though she may not be ready for it, and there's kind of a price she pays.Aria: She's become an artist, and soon finds that a very wealthy investor takes an interest in her work, and is very pleased to finally be entering the Art World. However, someone is waiting for her, and is ready to destroy her in a moments notice.Spencer: Spencer has had enough of bulling from A. She starts an Anti-Bulling webpage and in a way it's a release from all the stress and bulling from A. Others have posted on her site about how they were bullied, and it becomes a support group. That being said, everyone isn't pleased with Spencer, and they've formed a group of their own, and will do anything to bring Spencer and the PLL's down. They support Alison.Emily: Emily is just trying to survive. She's facing a lot, and then gets support from a source that she thought she lost sometime ago. Emily has had enough of A, and just wants to get on with her life. Emily has other problems besides A, her personal life is also crumbling, and Alison is happy to add to her misery.***Could be some spoilers*****Spencer really annoyed me in this book. She tells a stranger all that has happened to her, and how they plan to fight Alison. This is very unSpencer like. It seemed that all of sudden Spencer is an idiot. It was a character change for her, and not a good one.Emily was awesome! She's has had a lot of character growth and development, and it was nice to see. She's had enough of A/Alison, and brings the fight to Alison's front door, and does it alone. You can only push someone so far, before they push back.Aria was very interesting in this book. I liked how we were able to see the psychological effects A/Alison has had on her.Hanna was kind of a waste in this book. A/Alison didn't really do anything to her. If Hanna just broke apart from the PLL's, she'd be fine.****Spoilers End*******Okay, this book wasn't that great, actually, it was okay at best. I missed the texts/messages from A, and how she was omnipresent. There were two small ones, but I can't count that as official messages from A. I also missed the "What Happens Next....." at the end of the other books. Honestly, that was one of my favorite parts of the series. A special message from A to us. This book didn't have that, and honestly, I felt like I was cheated. This was a "filler" book and was kind of boring to read. Alison did attack someone in the book, and that was good, but other than that, not much happened with Alison/A.For me, what saved the book was Emily. She was fantastic. I can't say too much because I don't want to spoil the only good aspect about the book. Let's just say that Emily has a lot of positive character development. If she didn't have such a strong solid part to the book, I'd give it one or two stars.Over all, this was a let down from the other books in the series. If you have to get it, get it from the library. If you want to skip this book altogether, I can't blame you, and you wouldn't be missing much. The next book in the series is that last book, and frankly, the series needs to end. I just hope the next book is much better and it has a satisfying ending.

In love with Toxic
I am so obsessed with the Pretty Little Liars series. This book didn't let me down for a second. Each girl, (especially Emily) has matured in so many ways. The things they did were not as reckless as before, and the team-work was very good. The ending killed me and I can't wait for Vicious. I hope Alison dies (sorry, not sorry). In my opinion, it presented the perfect atmosphere for the last book. It was perfect, and I bet the last one will not disappoint me.

Every book more intriguing than the other
The plot is thickening, the girls can’t seem to get out of trouble time after time. Can’t wait for the next book although makes me upset that I’m ending the series very soon. Would highly recommend, it gets better and better
