Dunas II Men's Sandals. Best Seller

I had purchased these twice before when made by RIDER and they were the most comfortable flip flops I'd ever worn, so I ordered again, except this time by Cartago. There are 2 big differences. First of all the hole they made for the material that goes in between your big and 2nd toes is slightly farther back towards the heel, which doesn't allow your foot to go quite forward enough without digging in to your flesh. That also means that the back of your heel will be right at or almost over the back edge of the heel. On the original RIDER design, this was not an issue and fit was perfect. The other problem is that they changed the cushioning (if you want to call it that) that your feet are on....before, I remember the RIDER ones were super soft, supportive and comfy, right out of the box. NO MORE! They changed the materials and now they are much harder and really not nearly as comfortable as the RIDERS. I have my other 2 pair of RIDERS and compared them and in my opinion, they messed with a perfect design, and now these are just like average flip flops....before they were perfect fitting, uber-comfy. Now, not so much. Will not buy again! Very disappointed!

I ordered a size 11 like my old Riders and they are identical in every way. I love these, ordered a second pair just in case I can’t find them in 4 years. Not sure what the one reviewer is talking about, these are the Riders you love. I have an old Rider pair still, I can slip out of those and into the Cartago, they are the same.

I bought these because I have worn ryders for years and love them. I was upset to see the store I usually bought them at stopped carrying them and couldn’t find them online but found these that seemed to imitate them very well at least. Of course the ryders I would buy for twenty bucks and these were 35 but it’s hard for me to find sandals I can wear all summer and not kill my feet so figured I’d give them a try. These do imitate my ryders decent enough in shape and look but def not as comfortable or cushioning as the ryders I am used to. That being said I am still happy I got these as my last pair of ryders are pretty worn and these are the next best thing.

I wear flops/sandals in the evenings and on weekends. I bought my first pair of these sandals a couple years ago. I liked that I was helping the environment in buying something made of recycled materials. After I had a blowout, where the thong separated from the sole, I decided to buy another pair in August of last year. Two weeks ago, one sandal had a blowout simply by stubbing the toe over an uneven portion of sidewalk. Not wanting to buy another pair, I subbed in an old Ocean Reef flop so I could have a complete set of flops until I was ready to buy a new pair. Last week, the other Cartago flop started to have the thong come loose from the sole. I'm not sure if this product is no longer being made as well (enough glue in with thong), but I can't justify buying another pair if the product isn't durable enough to last longer.

This will be my third of fourth pair of the Dunas sandals. They fit my feet perfectly, and in my opinion are true to size. I bought these because after 3-4 years of steady summer use, my current pair is wearing out. Those fit my feet very well, as did prior pairs. I originally ordered a similar pair of sandals in another brand (costing about $10 less), but found when they came in that they did not have immediately good feel and wree a bit large for what I believe is my correct size. I ordered those because at the time the Dunas sandals were mostly out of stock, and also highly priced, so I took a chance on a lower priced alternate brand. My recommendation is that if you have Dunas sandals now and they fit well, but are nearing the end of their life, order them again. Some reviewers have said they aren't quite the same with the new manufacturer, but I did not perceive a large difference when trying them on.

These sandals are of absolutely fantastic quality! The build seems strong, and they are super comfortable!

I live in Florida and wear flip-flops nearly year round. The first pair I ever bought that I could truly tolerate wearing all day were from a brand called Ryder. I've had those flip-flops for years before they finally broke and partially wore through the heel. When I went looking for the same model on Amazon, I happened upon this brand that looks nearly identical to them. I was a little uneasy after reading a few reviews that seemed to imply that these weren't quite up-to-snuff, but now that I've received them, I can tell you that they are identical in every way (in my opinion). Very comfortable, well made, fit exactly as they should. They stay on my feet with little fuss. If they hold up for even half as long as the Ryder sandals, I'll be thrilled. I'd say if you're a fan of the Ryders, these are a great alternative and a little cheaper to boot.

An earlier review said these were built differently than expected, with a different fit too. I just don’t see it after comparing it to my Rider Dunas II sandals. These are identical, and I couldn’t be happier I found them. Great fit, solid comfort, and I love that I can wear them to dress up or dress down an outfit.

These must have replace the Ryder II sandals because they look and fit exactly like the Ryder's I have. They are comfortable (I wear them every day) and durable (they last me about 3 years and I use them daily. They do stretch once you start wearing them but the fit for me is exact so if they feel a bit tight at first they will wear in (I am a size 8 and the size 8 fits perfect). They are a bit pricey compared to other sandals but the extra money is well worth it for the fit, comfort and durability. I have owned 7-8 pairs of these (usually have two pairs on hand at any given time) and the quality has remained high on all of them. Highly recommended.

For Anyone looking for rider sandals these are them. They fit the same and feel the same. I buy them for quality, look and specially for wide feet. Great sandal!

Sandal is correct length but loose fitting.

Nice and comfy. Had a pair of these in the Rider line, glad I found the replacement.
