Door Stop by Wedge-It - Blue

Does exactly what you would expect a door stop to do...In all seriousness, I needed a doorstop I could keep by my attached-garage's inner door and this has been working perfectly. It has a hole in it so it worked out perfectly for me to buy a magnetic hook and keep it right near the hinge so it was within reach when needed. It is durable and the wife has even tried to close the door on me with it in an it did more damage to my trim than the wedge. Would definitely buy again, and probably will buy more to keep on hand and maybe one for work.

We were moving out of an apartment that had a few heavy quick slam close doors which would have made moving annoying. Because of covid, I didn’t want to constantly be holding a dirty doorstop that was constantly on the floor. That’s when I found this doorstop that wedges into the hinge. It worked great, probably used it 80+ times. When other people saw it, they also wanted to buy one! The heavy doors did leave a few indents in the wedge

I love this weird little gadget! We have a door going out to the garage that has about an 1 1/2" clearance from the floor, so a regular door stop just couldn't hold it. The door went right over top of the doorstop. Haha. I tried a couple of different ones in Large and X-Large sizes before I found this little guy. It has several positions that you can use it to hold the door, and it's sturdy. We've been using ours daily for about a month in a high traffic area and it's holding up like a champ. I'm getting some more for the other doors and we're tossing the dime store door stops. Great product!

It didn't work for me. It was light as feather and slid across the linoleum floor with no traction. I couldn't get it to wedge under the door so that door would stay in place. It was useful as a cat toy for a couple hours, as it slid across the floor so easily. Maybe it works better on carpet.

Fits perfect to hold a door open that I want open in the winter. It is a colder room and we need to keep the door open to let some heat get into it. the foot level wedge kept getting knocked out of place. This fits in the hinge where no one can accidentally bump it out of place. Of course, some idiot could accidentally force the door closed breaking something along the way.

We have a few of these on our installation team. We work in hotels installing guest technology equipment which often involves working on doors. These wedges are perfect! Using them in the hinge area eliminates having to bend down and pick them up or dealing with slippery tile floors, and on jobs where we need to use them under the door, they just work, no hassle, no issues, no sliding around.

We have had several of these for our back door which is spring controlled to close. It is great - except it doesn't take much for the plastic in the middle to crack. Can't live without it on days when we want the door to stay open BUT we wish they lasted longer.

I was glad to receive this because of its multiple uses for holding the door open for m classes. Unfortunately both were broken when used over the hinge. I would buy this again but only for under the door usage.
