So, I recently purchased this decorative wooden piece for displaying my small mugs and cups. Overall, I'm pretty content with my purchase. On the positive side, it's a simple and stylish addition to my kitchen, and the assembly process was a breeze. However, I did encounter a couple of drawbacks. First, the notches in the wood didn't provide a tight fit, which caused some instability in the piece. To address this, I used wood glue, which helped solve the issue. Second, I found that the cubbies were a bit too small for some of my mugs, and the ones around the edge were unfortunately unusable. Despite these minor setbacks, I still appreciate the charm it adds to my space. If you're willing to do a little DIY to improve stability and have smaller mugs, this piece could be a a good option.

Maybe 4 stars for the assembled product, but 0 stars for delays, packaging, instructions, and voice of hanging hardware.Package took months. Ok, it's coming over seas. It was packed in cheap Styrofoam which shed over all the pieces (and my kitchen). Apart from the environmental and disposal concerns, I had to wipe down every piece to get all the Styrofoam off which was very tedious and still find Styrofoam crumbs everywhere.Assembly is easy enough, but hanging ... man. I'm very handy and the hanging hardware included was unfamiliar and not intuitive and the instructions are brief and not in English. Once I figured it out, it stilled required some guess work as instruction display were for a different size and there were no pre drilled pilots. Lastly the unique fastners require hammering tiny pins into the wall through a very small window, so had to dig out punch to reach the pins and finish the job. Assembly took 5min but hanging took 40min.All that said, once assembled and hung it's great. Only reason not 5 stars is the pieces are a little loose fitting and cubbies aren't wide enough to display cups side ways, so you can only see the handle, not the artwork. Oh well.

I bought to display my jianzhan Chinese tea cups, and it fits them perfectly. It is a little smaller than I anticipated, but it fits well where I put it. I have received lots of compliments in it.Things to note:I do not believe this would fit traditional cups with saucers well. It would be right.Shipping was strange. It didn’t track with what the vendor sent. It just showed up at my house within the allowed time frame. About 1.5 months.

The first one came missing parts and had some gauges on certain boards. Sent back for a replacement (because I really like this item)……. It still hasn’t shown up! Where is it! Please send a replacement! It literally has been months. Give me my money back or send the damn thing with an apology.

Problems: (BUT we love it)1. Instructions were not in English2. Parts not numbered3. Uneven paint color4. Flat stain look5. Loose and uneven connections/slats-meaning flat side is not flush to wall6. Chipped and missing wood piecesIf you are not mechanically inclined as my hubby is, I don't recommend this.HOWEVER, my husband glued the connections, and rather than using the inadequate wall mounts for this, made L brackets to mount with wall screws. As you can see, we use it for Expresso cups and saucers, which is the thing now, and LOVE it! It is perfect for what we need and quite a conversation piece!!!

This shelf looks stunning. But the individual compartments are not large enough to display cups and saucers properly. To place items of that size on all the sections destroys the shape of the unit and defeats the unique look of the shelf.

Yes for $200 you can have the shelf that is extremely lightweight falls apart and is nowhere near as big as they claim it is.

Just right for miniature tea pots.
