I bought this to clean my vaulted, textured ceiling. 20-odd years of cobweb and dust buildup rolled away with a swipe. This ceiling was impossible to keep clean so I'd stopped trying. Vacuuming was the only option but was such a chore that I didn't bother. I finally thought to try to find something like this product and I was very glad to find that it existed (else I would have tried using 2 or more smaller rolls on a paint roller handle). Some users have problems with the product, especially removing the dirty sheet to expose the next one. Perhaps various factors (humidity, production variations, misunderstanding of how it works) kept others from successfully unrolling the spent sheet. I found it worked best when peeling from the outside edge toward the handle. Once you find the outside corner (which isn't hard, just follow the spiral to the edge of the roll), just peel SLOWLY - pulling ever so slightly to the inside of the roll as it unravels. Yes, I had a sheet or two tear in half partway off, but it's as easy as starting again at the outermost edge of the remaining piece and pulling it away from the roll. Slow and steady wins that race. Some say the sheets weren't sticky enough. "Sticky enough" would be relative to what you're expecting and I found this to be equivalent to a popular brand's "Pet Extra Sticky" lint roller - if not a tad stickier than that. Certainly, it was suitably sticky enough for my purposes. The handle was easy to assemble; the roll holder was sturdy. And I put some pressure on it, too (especially when I used it to try to keep my balance while perched on a stepladder to get the highest points of the ceiling). The handle didn't bend, the roll holder didn't crack and the roll didn't "walk" off the holder as it rolled smoothly and without hitching. I found a bonus use: cleaning the brick fireplace front which is also not the easiest thing to keep clean. For reference, it took 5 sheets to clean every square inch of a vaulted ceiling in a 14.5' x 21.5' living room, plus one sheet for the 5.5' wide, 8-9' tall brick facing on the fireplace. I'm doing the rest of the house tomorrow! I'd buy this again in a minute; 5 stars all around.

OK, first things first. This thing is INCREDIBLY simple and effective. All of the reviews saying "it's impossible to take off the sheets/find where to peel it" must have been written by blind people with no arms. Each sheet alternates between the color green or white, so it is really really easy to peel off the sheets. Next: effectiveness - this thing did an amazing job of cleaning hair out of my carpet. My girlfriend and I moved into an apartment with a carpet full of cat and human hair. I bought a 9.5 horsepower shopvac to clean it up - still tons of hair. Next I had the apartment complex manager bring in their "professional" carpet cleaners. They ran a 40 foot hose out of a truck, up to our balcony and then sprayed and cleaned the carpet - still tons of cat and human hair left. Next I found this roller. I used the entire roll on a 20 x 20 room + closet and there is NOT A SINGLE CAT OR HUMAN HAIR LEFT IN THE CARPET. This thing rocks. I would advise buying extra rolls though!

This floor lint roller is excellent at doing exactly what it claims to do. I love using it in my sewing room, it picks up all of the tiny threads that cover my floor and area rug after a day of sewing. I Really Really wish I could give it five stars, but I do have one, and only, complaint — it is very difficult to start the corner to peel off the grungy sheet so as to reveal a new one. I’m thinking it is because it’s best feature is how very sticky it is, making for excellent pick up power-but the very same virtue makes it very difficult to peel away. I would most definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

I have no idea why anyone has a problem with this unit. It went together in under a minute and I was picking up dog hair immediately. I have used it with success on my tile floors, carpet, counters, couch and throw pillows. It works so well it will grab things you had no idea were on your floor or couch. I would agree with other positive reviewers who have stated, "buy refills you will need them". I keep it handy and use it daily. It has replaced my Swiffer as the go-to for my morning dog hair sweep. Peeling the sheets is EZ-PZ and yes, you have to touch the used sheet cause........how else you gonna get it off!?!?!? The construction is sturdy but it needs very little pressure to complete its duties. One last item the initial sound of a fresh sheet running across my tile is incredibly satisfying!

This is by far the best cleaning tool I ever bought! I can't recommend it enough! I have a sweet schnoodle with a thick undercoat who leaves soft dark hair all over my throw rug. Immediately after vacuuming it we could put our hand on the rug and it would be covered with black hair. After rolling this tool over the rug multiple times, no hair is on our hand when we place it there. Plus the colors in the rug are noticeably brighter. My 11-year-old grandson insisted on being the one to put the handle together and do all the rolling. He said he didn't realize the rug was this color and discovered that cleaning "is so satisfying!" We used about 6 pieces of tape to get all the hair up. I ordered 2 refills because I am going to use this routinely. It is very sturdy and easy to use. I'm so glad I found it! The picture was taken after we had just vacuumed the rug.

we needed a lint roller for our dog who sheds enough for another dog and when I tell you this lint roller is STICKY? SHE PICKYS UP EVERYTHING. The nasty bathrug that nobody cleaned I went down with one swip and it pick the dust and fur in one swip. she was pricey but worth it. The only downside is I was shipped without the grey top but it’s not that big of a deal still works fine

It works great, but the pole is flimsy so you can't put pressure on it. It feels like it's going to break easily. It's better than getting on my knees with a hand-held roller though.

There’s not enough time out there that you should be running to get this product. This is amazing. Once you start using this on your floors, you just will not believe the stuff that is left on the floors even after you mop them vacuum them your cleaning lady comes whatever you will be shocked at the amount of stuff the stuff fixed up. I saw another Cleaning Lady using this in the bathroom and I asked her why are you using that and she says because mopping and he kind of wet mopping does not pick up Hair and if you have a dog or you have someone that’s in the bathroom that loses a lot of hair, especially dark here you have to buy this product. It is amazing.

A bit pricey but v good quality. Clean the carpet so well.

I'm skeptical of alot of the reviews on here, I've bought things that people raved about that ended up being just average. But this is fantastic. There were cheaper ones but I paid the extra for this model in the end and it is worth every cent. I'd pay 3x. If you have a ridiculously fluffy pet like me, and hard floors, it's a life saver. It saves me SO much time and things are actually clean for once. Not just the floor, it does the couch and the bed so quickly.
