Diamond Water-Based polishing Paste 5/3 Micron. 40g

I've purchased this paste for knife stropping(with .25 micron paste).The paste felt a little thicker than my expectation but this is just my preference. I could easily spread the paste on my leather strop. After a few hours of drying, my strop felt soft and smooth, like soft suede leather.The feeling is biggest difference between this 5/3 micron paste and .25 micron paste. When stropping a knife on .25 micron pasted strop, it feels like the edge glides on it. 5/3 micron pasted strop feels sticky/dragging, and leaves clumped residue on the knife surface. But after washing off, this will also leave shiny polished surface.Being water-based, it is quite easy to wash off paste residue. I recommend soapy water or rubbing alcohol to wash the clumped residue.
