Gabriel Cosmetics Liquid Foundation, Organic Formula- 1 fl oz. (Soft Beige, 1.0)

I used to buy this product from Whole Foods and it was my absolute favorite! Unfortunately, Whole Foods is hours away so I ordered it from Amazon. I am unimpressed with the apparent new formula. It does not seem to blend with my skin the way the others I bought from Whole Foods did. It appears blotchy and makes my skin look dry, even with moisturizer and primer on. I have read other comments saying Gabriel changed the formula and I am not a fan. The old bottles were frosted, and the new bottles are clear.

Gabriel liquid foundation makeup is not available in my local grocery stores, so I resorted to purchasing online. Service from this source was very fast. The glass bottle was well packed and arrived safely.Why do I like Gabriel liquid foundation? It never burns my eyes, it goes on smoothly and semi-transparently--that is, it covers most blemishes and minimizes the major ones. I have a surgical scar on my cheek and am satisfied with just the foundation coverage with no added camouflage techniques: The scar shows through the makeup, but not significantly so. Once on, the foundation lasts all day.

I have very dry, sensitive skin which caused me to have to switch to organic skin care and makeup. I tried Physicians Formula Organic line but, oddly enough, I was allergic to it. So, the search was on for a light, moisturising foundation that was right for me. After researching, I decided to try Gabriel Color Moisturizing Liquid Foundation in Natural Beige. Am I glad I did. The foundation goes on smoothly (I use my fingertips). I have slightly red cheeks and this foundation actually covers the redness quite well when it's dry. I use a moisturizer with this foundation and my skin feels soft and supple all day. Not bad for an almost 63 year old grandma! I recommend this foundation for anyone who has dry, sensitive skin.

I love this, for it is good for my skin and has a little sun protection in it. I use a darker one for the summer and a lighter one for the winter. I do wish they would come back with the applicator like the older ones came with. Easier to get it out and use. But it is a little thin and I have to apply a couple coats to cover anything. Not sure if they watered it down from the older version of it. but doesn't cover as well as before.

Bought this item for my girlfriend, here is her review:I selected the natural beige liquid foundation and also the shade lighter than this to determine the correct color match. This one is true to my skin tone. What I did notice when I received both items is that the thickness is not the same between shades. The Natural Beige was much thicker and a little more challenging to apply. I have rosacea and also very sensitive skin and have found that I can tolerate this brand of foundation. I have started to use this liquid foundation as a concealer to spot treat red areas and the powder foundation that Gabriel makes for all over foundation coverage.I can get through most of the day without heavy oil build up in my T zones which is nice. Product has little to no smell. But as I mentioned earlier this batch maybe was thicker than intended, it is hard to get out of the bottle.

My local Whole Foods quit carrying this brand so I was happy to get it on Amazon. As for the makeup itself, I have very sensitive skin and it works well for me. The color is perfect (rose beige) as I usually end up with base that is too yellow or orange. But I do wish it wasn’t so sheer as I need a little more coverage.

NO barabens, which is one reason I've used this for years. Nice even coverage. I'd never use any other brand.

This product becomes dewy, glowing. and moisturizing on the skin. It's very natural and feels good when applied. It's non-greasy and smells fresh. It adds a natural glowing color to my face also. Not a matte finish--but a natural moisturized appearance. I've bought it many times and highly recommend it.
