Usually flats are unflattering on me, they make me look stumpy. But I really like these! They're true to size. However if you have wide feet with a bunion these will probably not work. I have a slight bunion so I broke in that 1 strap by wearing a sock and bending my feet on my tip toes. Also, these do not make you're pinky toe want to come out the strap. I hate that! I saw a lady once who was wearing a strappy sandal and her pinky toe was bulging out hanging on to her dear life. So these shoes do not do that.Last but not least, but I believe this is due to my foot shape...theres a bit of extra room on the toe area. My toes are not straight so take this in consideration.Overall the shoes feel like high quality and comfortable. Give it some time to break it in. I received these shoes at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. If you found this helpful, please mark it as so. Thank you.

So-So, the jury is still out...but so far I like them well enough
I have mixed feelings about these sandals. On the one hand, they're a cute, neutral shoe. Gladiator sandals can really cut you off and make you look stubby, especially if you're already short. However because of the light tan color, these don't really do that for me and that's definitely a plus. They're real leather, which is also a plus but there are degrees of good leather, and these are not super nice leather. The straps are each of different thickness, which isn't a huge deal, but is still a little odd to me.The buckles are super cheap. I was afraid I was going to bust them just trying these sandals on. When I read that something is "Handmade", I think artesian quality. This comes off more homemade, IMO. The bottoms are really slippery, I'll need to buy some new scuff pads for the bottoms so I don't slip and fall while wearing them. That's not really a big deal though, I buy those pretty often for work shoes.Overall, these are alright. I received them at a discount in exchange for my honest review. As you can see, I don't just automatically review something well because I received a discount, all opinions are my own. I'm not certain they are worth the current $50 price tag, but I may feel differently after they're broken in. I may try to oil the leather and see how they wear. If they turn out to be fabulous, I will absolutely come back and update. Likewise, if they break the 5th time I wear them or something like that, I'll also update.
