Ambrosio Ambrosio Excellence Rim

I have four sets of these wheels that were custom made by my LBS. They are laced to 32H Campy Record hubs (one set using Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes and the rest using DT straight-gauge spokes). By comparison, I also have a set of Campy Eurus wheels and one set of Fulcrum Racing Zero Competition Ltd. Edition that I use on my CF bikes. The Ambrosio wheels are strong, yet fairly lightweight; they run true and, combined with the Record hubs are very responsive. I am not a lightweight rider and I use the Ambrosios to ride on mostly rough terrain, yet I've never had a single problem with these wheels. I highly recommend them to all riders who are looking for a well-built, quality wheel that won't break the piggy bank. Old time riders, competing on the Paris - Roubaix and Tour de Flanders races, riding over harsh and unforgiving cobblestones, chose Ambrosio wheels. 'Nuff said.
