It works. You can change the volume with the TV remote. I got this as the new TV doesn't have an audio jack/RCA. Making my hifi useless. It compresses the audio quality as well as making it very quiet. I wouldn't recommend this for audio lovers but still better than the inbuilt speakers. 3 stars but there isn't much else out there so it'll have to do.

Didn’t work.
I sent it to Spain as a gift, but it did not work at all (and costs too much to return). I wish I’d read the other reviews.

Didn't work.
Never managed to get it to work, followed the instructions. Tried all the relevant menu options to no prevail. Did mean to send back.

It sounds terrible and has an incredibly low volume output
