This poison is slow warfare on outside pests
After reading many reviews of this product on this site and others, I have come to the conclusion that many people are not using this properly. It is not a fast killer in many cases, and you have to be patient to get it to the right critter. This is experience talking after going through two 9 lb buckets of the stuff and on my third. It’s expensive so learn how to meek out one bucket to get your desired results. I live in rural Virginia so this may not apply to folks in AZ or WA.If placing under the house or in the attic for mice/rats, you should have no problems. A little peanut butter wiped on them doesn’t hurt. Mice and rats may avoid for a couple days but once they start to feed, they should be dead in about 3-5 days. Again, it’s not an instant killer but once they injest, their clock in running out.Outside is a different story because of raccoons, possums, and other assorted critters. Yes it will kill raccoons, possums, etc. but it will take 10-14 days, 3-7 days for squirrels and chipmunks, so if you keep putting out the bait after the first day, the same raccoons and possums are probably the culprits that continue to eat it. So, put out only a dozen or so of the bricks and wait two weeks before putting out more. Wait another week before putting out more. Now you are finally (probably) targeting the mice and rat populations, but they die off faster than the raccoons and possums so you should be good with weekly or monthly checks after that other than the raccoons and possums that wander in because their now deceased buddy told them about the good food.Patience is the key to effectively using this poison to get to the rats and mice. It’s a killer but you may have to weed through other pests before you target the ones you want.

Works very well.
This is my third purchase of this product. I have used others, but they are not as effective as Jaguar at controlling small rodents. I live near a wooded area that invites all kinds of rodents, which cause damage to my property and they must be controlled. I do use a bait station, which I monitor weekly. I know it works because I also use snap traps. When I stop getting rodents in the snap traps, I know that Jaguar has done its work. I highly recommend, even though it is more expensive than the alternatives.

Wow! View my pics & read review.
Wow, I went to grab this stuff from my basement and saw the rat(s) chewed through the unopened container to get to it! Must be delicious. The best protection against rodents is to seal access. When that’s not possible, I like the Jawz traps as they’re most humane. When there are several, poison seams to work well.As for poison, I recommend the Protecta Bait Stations & this stuff!I have 4 traps outside my house. I checked them today as I can smell the funk of the dead. One station had a dead, baby rat. One trap had a baby (mouse size) rat dying. So sad! I had to hit it with a shovel. The other two traps were completely empty of bait, so they live this stuff! My husband went in the crawl space and pulled out one momma and another baby. The momma pulled down the insulation and made nests.Anyhow, it seams to me, the babies eat and die in the stations. The smell can deter future feedings so catch them early and wash them out. The adults seam to eat and run. The issue is the 4 traps have been baited outside for two months and they still had babies. Is the entry in the traps too small for the large adults or, are they too smart? I wrote “Die rats die” on the container so that rules out the smart. Ha ha! Just kidding. I’m thinking it’s too small because they chewed through the container to get to the bait. One good thing is the chipmunks don’t seem interested. We have several and I’ve never seen a dead one.Another issue is our basement stinks. I’ve used Jawz bait traps many times in rentals & my home and it never smelled. Does the poison contribute to the stench?Pros and cons, but overall, they kill rats, so I’m happy.

Ok
Seems to work though I hardly see them being eaten by mice so either I don't have mice or they aren't interested

Really, really works!
I don't always write product reviews, but I wanted to take the time to write about this one. We have a barn, perfect habitat for mice and rats. I usually get Jaguar from the farm supply near us, but recently they didn't have any in stock. I was very happy this was available on Amazon. I'm a prime member, so no shipping. The price was within $2.00 of our local fam supply. As far as the product goes, I don't know why, but the mice will actually eat Jaguar. We have bought some of the other rat chunx and put them in a closet in our barn and it never looks like the mice eat it. If you put Jaguar in the barn closet, you can see where the mice have chewed it. You will also find some dead mice. We have used this product for about 10 years. I highly recommend it. I will not buy any other kind. The packaging was fine and arrived on time.

Amazing Rat Poison
This rat poison is amazing. I had a horrible rat problem in the street where I live at. It got so bad the rats chewed my engine harness. Every night the rats nested on my engine bay with food until one day they finally chewed my engine harness and caused major damage. I decided to buy this poison out of desperation and I'm very happy that I did. I first put two of these red rat poison stubs on top of my engine for 4 days and every day the rats like clockwork would eat them, I also put several underneath my car and they were eating them like candy. I also put some in rat holes nest and had great success the rats have been dying in bunches. This poison has pretty much eliminated the rat problem around where I live at. I Highly recommend this poison rats love the smell and taste. You won't regret purchasing this poison it's one if not the best out their in the market. Two thumbs up.
