I was really impressed with how well this Rain-X windshield repair kit worked. I had a small chip in my windshield and was worried it would eventually spread into a larger crack. The instructions were pretty straightforward, and the whole process was easier than I expected. After applying the resin and letting it cure, the chip was noticeably less visible and looked much better than it did before. For the price, this kit is definitely worth trying before paying for a professional repair, especially for smaller chips or bull’s-eyes. It may not make the damage completely disappear, but it filled the chip well and gave me a lot more confidence that it won’t continue spreading. I’d definitely keep another one of these on hand for future windshield chips.

You can still see the repaired area when you look closely. It's not a magic eraser that makes the glass flawless again, but it greatly minimizes the visibility and, crucially, reinforces the area. Summary: If you have a small chip or starburst and your main goal is to prevent it from spreading and turning into an expensive replacement job, this Rain-X kit is a great, reliable, and quick solution. It was a worthwhile investment that saved my windshield from getting worse during the winter. Just remember that it’s a repair, not an un-do button!

For the price, this blew my expectations away. I had a pretty big rock hit my windshield and the size of the damage was about the size of the quarter and this made the damage look much better. I think the problem is people expect too much out of this. Can't compare this to professional job at Safelite but it's like 70% quality of a safelite job. I would 1000% buy this again. I think following the instructions is key and next time I will probably do a better job at it because there will be a next time. If you don't care about perfection, then save your money and do it yourself with this product.

I grabbed this for my old SUV because paying the glass shop every time a rock hits the windshield gets old fast. Used it on a chip on the passenger side, about the size of a dime, from a weekend soccer run with the kids. The instructions are simple enough if you read them once before starting. i liked that the resin actually filled the little star lines so they barely catch the light now. I just parked in the garage, set up the little applicator, and gave it time to cure. It will not make a crack disappear like magic, but for small chips it works well and keeps me from scheduling another repair visit.

Based on where the damage is, it is not easy to aim the tool as it is difficult to see through the tool to the damage. Others use a stick on which you can easily aim as you can see the damage. Hoerver easy and fast to use - just learn the instructions. I did four small chips (Bullseye) that had small cracks eminating from center. My goal was to stop the damage from getting larger and stop light reflecting in the small cracks. It did work, but not invisable, fill was translucent, not clear. My damage was not in line of site and small, so I was happy with results. Better than paying for a new windshield or making an insurance claim. I might buy as easier to aim kit in the future.

leggere e seguire alla lettera le istruzioni anche se in inglese ci sono le figure e sono facili da capire ma devi seguire passo passo e devo dire che ho risparmiato un bel po ottenendo lo stesso risultato dei piu illustri riparatori di parabrezza al prezzo di una pizza e birra con tro le 100 e piu euro chieste da altri. che dire soddisfattissimo grazie

I have fixed about 3 X windscreens with this tool kit. I have been able to remove 95-99% of stone chips which have been rather quite large. Used this product which was easy to use and satisfying to see the end results. It's a great feeling when avoiding a massive $$$ replacement bill for a new windscreen
