Nope. It does not spray out like you think it would. Do it for 90 seconds for a nice cold beer or soda. Make sure you have fresh batteries.

How long do the batteries last with regular use?

I use Chill o matic everyday. I inserted two brand new AA batteries. It was good enough for 20 cokes (12 oz).

Is this item returnable?

Does it keeps the ice from melting if you are going to use it later?
