Actually, that's not a bad idea, but I don't know the ingredients. As long as the compound does not contain any kind of solvents that attack acrylic, it could work. If it does work, it would only be effective if applied to the edge of the nail and fingernail polish would defeat the purpose.

Q: Why does this product seem to work for half of all buyers and not the other half?

if you have a tight fitting and thin glove and good adhesive its worth a try otherwise not worth the effort to use.

The functionality of this product does not rely on glove material :-) In terms of "Reducing friction" we are not sure what you mean by that. This product makes any gloves touch-screen compatible.
