Blade

This is the bible of the knife industry. I can count on its prose, photographs and tests to stay up to date on the newest blade shapes, steels, handle materials and locking mechanisms. As a former store and internet retailer as well as knife enthusiast, I like to keep my hand in.

I really enjoy the magazine. The reviews are in detail and the news is current and up to date. The experts give excellent opinions and the tip are good.Would like to see a review on Pohl Force (Mike Four Outdoor), Steel Will (Onrush 612) or Fox knives (G10 Karambit) as well as some other less mainstream knives soon.RegardsGerrit

It's a great magazine. Like most publications, it has a lot of adds. I'd like to see more how too but this is a pretty good magazine to see what's out there and who's up and coming in the knife world.

I was hoping that this magazine would grow on me, but after three issues, I'm underwhelmed. I signed up for a year subscription, so hopefully things will improve. I don't think the articles are particularly compelling, and there is a lot of editorializing that bleeds into articles. I'd be happy for articles about knife laws, but I don't need to see snarky one off comments in what should be an unrelated news story. I own this in print and on the kindle, and the formatting on the kindle is very poor, especially if I compare it to a magazine I read on the kindle like Guns and Ammo.

good magazine to go along with knives illustrated. enjoyable, good information on the pages that are not ad's. for the price of this good magazine there should be more articles and pictures, less ads.

I love having a hard copy of this mag for the future... and I love the fact that I can search on the digital version and read it off line. Super value!

I purchased this as a gift for my teenaged grandson who is all country boy. He loved the first magazine he received.
