HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer + full spre HP XL ink set

Next day delievery went smoothly.The printer is easy to configure using the on device wizard.I have not owned the printer long enough to give an in-depth review. But the first thing the strikes me is, that is not as compact as I was hoping. I can just about fit it into my work rucksack with my laptop. Also the gloss back plastic surface on top of the printer is susceptible to swirls and scratches. I would recommend cleaning it with a soft lint free microfibre cloth.The paper tray is not secured in the closed position when transporting, which means that you may want to get a dedicate case for the printer, to protect it in transit.I purchased a cased for the printer in the end (generic, not HP). Overall I like the printer, even though it is not photo quality. The quality is fine for documents and PowerPoint slides. I would recommend purchasing a spare battery as the battery self discharged in the printer. If you are not using it regularly, you will find the battery in the printer will be dead after a month of not being used.As such you need to top up the battery every now and again even if you are not using it.AirPrint from IOS works well from the HP App and so does scanning image directly from your phone to the printer. However, the scanner has a hard time feeding the scanned paper dead straight. Scans always seem to be slightly skewed. But that’s such a minor flaw that it’s not worth mentioning. This printer has followed me all over the world in my aircraft hold language and has survived, various assignments. So I’m generally happy with it.

Update....ok I wrote the review hastily, you can print without internet connection not through Bluetooth but using the direct print function....5 stars !!So I wanted a portable printer and this is that and a whole lot more, unfortunately portable for me means I don’t need to be connected to the internet to be able to use, first thing I did was try to set up Bluetooth printing to use with my iPhone, I found some instructions online and the first thing it states is that Bluetooth does not work with Apple products 🤦🏻‍♂️, I did a bit of research before hand and some had stated that it would work fine so I took a gamble and lost, sent it back the following day as not fit for purpose

Firstly I was surprised to see how lightweight and compact this printer was. It's pretty easy to setup and print with my laptop and smart devices through WiFi, Bluetooth and USB. I can also turn off the noise so the printer prints very quietly at night. Overall, I'm happy with it but the colour cartridge running out pretty quickly after 2 pages of printing (only words, no pictures). Also, the HP software to install is pretty useless not to recognise the printer most of the time. My devices can so I just print straight from Word/Excel/PDF, etc. If these small flaws can be fixed, it's a true 5 stars product.

This is a great little printer. Worth the money

Printer and scanner work well, with the print quality better than most full size domestic printers I have used. Not as light or as compact as my old portable Canon, but print quality and the ability to scan & copy more than out-weigh that. Highly recommend getting one of the cases available for the printer for ease of carrying & protection. Not sure what ink cartridge consumption will be like, but bought this to print reports on site to save cost of return visits, not to print 500 page documents on a daily basis. If you need portability, then I highly recommend the HP Office Jet 250

I haven't had it long enough, and with lockdown, haven't travelled enough with it to give an in-depth review. However, from the brief amount of time I've had with it, I've been able to pair the printer with the laptop wirelessly, and discover the printing quality is very acceptable. It is very light and with the additional hardcase, I'm happy to take it anywhere.

I needed a small and unobtrusive printer that I could access from anywhere in the house and also one that portable when necessary. This HP Officejet 250 really fits the bill. It was easy to set up, print quality is excellent and it’s no slouch, producing pages in a few seconds. I can print wirelessly from my iPhone, iPad and laptop. It scans well and the OCR software produces accurate results. So far, I have not found any reason to fault this printer. Even the price isn’t bad for what you get.

Wanted a small printer with all the functions, as my office is tiny. Although expensive, I still think it's worth it. Good quality prints, quick and looks great, so I'm very pleased with it (so far). I like the fact there are no cables (once battery is charged), so really is very neat.
