Sous Vide Supreme Vacuum Roll Pouches, 2 Rolls Per Box (5-(Pack))

The rolls were not smoothly wrapped, so there were periodic creases when you pulled them from the box. This condition was the same on both rolls and through the entire length of the roll. I found that the pouches wouldn't seal properly if you tried to press them where there was a crease. It took me several tries to figure out that I had to cut sufficiently far from the creases to get a pouch that would seal properly on both ends. As a result I wasted a lot of plastic, and had to make my pouches much bigger than would normally be necessary. In the future I will just purchase pre-made bags.

I purchased the Sous Vide Supreme Vacuum Roll pouches to use in my Sous Vide Supreme oven, I am having great luck with them and enjoying this new style of cooking, for my home anyway, I have had no leaks or tears and I like being able to choose the size bag I need without having to purchase all different sizes. I recommend these, cook Sous Vide without worry about bag safety and durability.

As reported by others, creases in the roll prevent a vacuum seal and in some instances you can't even get a seal, Froze some meat in a sealed (not vacuum) portion, and upon thawing the bag was leaking where a tiny edge of a crease had been included in the seal.I was able to get 2 small vacuum bags out of a roll. After that the roll was full of creases.

Bags work fine, but the quality of my order was poor. There were wrinkles in the roll. Didn't look too bad so I went ahead and used it. It turns out that the wrinkling got worse as I used more of the roll and reached the center of the roll. The last 10 feet or so, I had to throw the roll away because my heat sealer couldn't seal across creases in the plastic. This is despite my best effort to flatten the plastic before vacuum sealing.Anyway, its too late to return the rolls to Amazon. I'll try another brand for future orders.

These work great with my vacuum sealer and in my sous vide cooking. No funny smells. Does not appear to breakdown in any way. Excellent in the freezer too. Food stores longer when the air next to the food is removed.

I have been using my sous vide for the last two weeks using the Supreme vacuum bags.They work great they never open in the water, they work great with my food saver vacuum sealer. A must have if you enjoy cooking with your Soux Vide.

Pretty good sous vide bags. I wasn't sure about them at first because the smooth texture of the plastic is a bit different from the slightly crinkled texture of the previous design. But these new bags actually seem to seal more reliably with the heat sealing machine than the previous generation of bags did.

The roll started out fine, but the more i got into the roll, there were creases that didnt allow for a perfect seal and it allowed air back in.I will never purchase these types again. Single bags are the way to go until this is corrected
