Duality Yerba Mate Set

I bought the duality Yerba Mate set couple weeks ago, so far is working really well, If you're a beginner in the art of drinking mate tea, this will be the best choice, is not hard to cure, it takes couple days to be ready to use! Amazing product!!!

The only reason I gave it 1 star is because they look cool. Even after "seasoning" them, they seep all over things. I have stains on my desk at work & counters at work. The mate is all stems & doesn't taste as fresh. I've moved on to a silicone gourd and would strongly advise against buying these.

I cured my two mate gourds over 2 days and what a delicious smell and additional flavor they add to my mate drinking. The bombillos (straws) works just fine. As for the bag of mate itself, it is the classic bitter kind. I prefer milder tasting mate, but I do recommend using the given bag of mate for curing the gourds.The only negative: The wax dye used to color the gourds bleeds color onto my hands after the water has been added about 10 minutes later. A few times the little bit of warm water touched my gourd and the dye started to stain the countertop. So far, nothing has been damaged, but the offletting of color is quite annoying. The color off letting lasted about 2 months.

I was ok. Not what I expected but it was good for a good start. I would wish the amount of tea would of been more.

Very amazing deal for the price, great set for two, comes with yerba mate and pamphlet for beginners to drinking the tea. My only qualm was having to cure the gourd prior to use, which takes two days. Also the dye on the gourds stained the counter while I was doing it too. The stains are still visible but a few more rounds of bleach should take care of it but my mom was pissed. If you are curing your gourds, make sure you put something underneath and rinse/dry them thoroughly!
