This adapter works perfectly and eliminates the need for the manual handset lifter. I can confirm that this works flawlessly with the Polycom VVX 400 series phones and contrary to a previous comment made stating that "answer button on the headset doesn't work without using a handset lifter", this is not the case for me. The headset answer button works as expected and it's easy to answer or initiate any call from either the headset button, picking up the handset, using the soft button on the phone or using the selection key on the Plantronics headset cradle. As others have stated, the price seems a little unjustified considering already investing $250+ for the Plantronics headset (which was more than the phone), but whatever, it works.

I have several new models of Sangoma phones and multiple different Poly/ Plantronics headsets at my office. This cable allows users to push the button on the headset to answer and end calls. Works as intended which was a nice surprise as Sangoma phones are not currently on Poly/ Plantronics compatibility list.

We are running Poly Edge 450 and 550 phones and most of our users have Plantronics or Poly wireless headsets. One of our headsets is an old CS540 and the rest are a mix of different models of Poly/Plantronics 3-way, telephone, bluetooth, usb audio wireless headsets. This cable did the trick in allowing hookswitch control from the headset buttons. Our users can now hear their phone ring in their headsets, allowing for remote pickup when they are meandering about the office. Super impressed. Everyone is very happy.

We've been using Polycom phones with Plantronics wireless headsets - and the combination works great except for the fact that the answer button on the headset doesn't work without using a handset lifter. To me, handset lifters have always seemed a bit kludgy; but, this cable completely solves the issue without needing a lifter. All you need to do is replace the default Plantronics-to-phone interface cable with this one and everything works perfectly. I will say that I originally just plugged the cable in and was disappointed when it didn't work as expected. After a few minutes of trial-and-error I ended up pulling the one-page instruction sheet that came with this cable out of the trash and actually read it :). The key was to adjust the settings on the phone to Analog/Plantronics Mode, and then everything worked perfectly. I know it seems expensive; but, when compared to the cost & hassle of a lifter, this cable really isn't a bad deal. I would recommend it if you're using a Plantronics headset with a Polycom phone.

I find it funny that a cell phone set up does not include this set of wiring. But hey, been using it regularly and have had no issues.

I was really disappointed in this purchase. I ordered this product to go with a new plantronics headset and it was defective. We tried every setting on the headset and nothing worked. Not knowing if the issue was a headset or cable issue, we unfortunately went past the return date (only a 30 day return policy) and we were stuck with a defective cable. I've since ordered the exact same cable from the company we purchased the headset and it worked right away. Clearly it was a defective cable that caused the problem. I will not be ordering from this company again.

When we upgraded the phones at work, we didn't upgrade the wireless headsets as they were still in great condtion and worked perfectly. This cord saved us from having to buy new headsets. Works great with Poly VVX450 phones.

Great bit of kit that allows me to answer calls remotely between my VVX411 & Savi headset. Not cheap and should really be built into the base station for my headset, but it's not me paying for it so I'm not bothered (just got to try and tidy up all the extra cables). Next day delivery was great and I've no complaints!

Made my Plantronics Savi 740 headset work seamlessly with a Polycom VVX400 VOIP Phone, essentially means I can answer calls away from my desk without the need of pressing the answer button on the phone every time it rings. Seems expensive but its essential.

This product is the perfect accessory for the Plantronics CS520. It worked exactly as described, first time out of the box. Simple instructions and minimal intervention required to get up and running.
