WESCO Single Master, Stainless Steel

This little trashcan works really great, looks real cute, and fits neatly beside the toilet in the bathroom. Had this trash can fir well over a year now and still going strong with plenty of use.

This is my favorite thing in my kitchen. I can’t believe that I am writing a review about a garbage bin but Wesco is a commitment and labour of love. It is funny to admit that I have never received so many compliments about the best monument in my kitchen- a Wesco garbage bin. It is like a space shuttle, honestly! The design is sturdy and futuristic. Although, mind you the outer casing is removable. I really love this product! Anybody with an eye for class and design would appreciate it.

Somewhat disappointed when I received this in the mail and saw how difficult it would be to change out the bag (lift entire can up and empty). That there is just a loose plastic bucket below makes it seem like it wouldn't work. However, the ease of operation, the fact that it opens up through the top makes daily use trump the annoying aspect of emptying the bucket. No more strings of floss hanging off the side of the can. It's a very clean, lovely operation. I will be getting more.

I never thought I'd write a review of a garbage bin. This however is one beautiful bin. German engineered and made, the pedal mechanism with a perfectly smooth gliding opening action has to be depressed to be appreciated. The paint job on the bin would make some automotive manufacturers cry. This bin truly is a thing of beauty. It is just the right size to fit the plastic grocery bags that never seem to fit other bins. It's main drawback is that it is so pretty that the Mrs refuses to put garbage into it. I guess this kind of defeats the purpose of having a bin...but hey she's the one that wanted a bin with a cover.

I've had it for only a month and therefore cannot attest to the durability. But this is one cool trash can, particularly the way the top opens; two doors sliding apart, like a missile silo in preparation for launch. The mechanism is smooth and silent. The entire thing seems well built with a slight retro look. One of the other reviews compared it to R2D2, and I agree. I tried the simplehuman can first, but when the top flipped up it banged against the wall. No such problem here!

There is a bit of a trick in the assembly process but truly push & click

I almost returned this waste can because it was too big for my bathroom. So glad I kept it. I moved to a bigger space and it fits perfectly. It's solidly made and I like the soft close on top. It's about as cute as a waste can can be.

Sturdy and heavy duty. Used for a year and still holding up.

Absolutely love this bin, to the point of hauling another one back to the US on the plane again.It's big enough without being overwhelming in the bathroom to put all kinds on things that dogs shouldn't be getting into. The pedal is easy to operate when "seated" next to the bin when you might need to drop a wrapper or used product into it.The clamshell doors are puzzling enough for our overly bright standard poodles. One time snapping it closed in front of them has quelled their curiosity. Pretty much every other bin they either just "nose" open, or step on the pedal (yeah, really).Be aware that the whole bin lifts off the liner for emptying. Surprising at first, but very practical. If you've got big, "clumsy" pets, they might knock it over and get access to the contents, but it's never been a problem with our 25-kg poodles.

Nice bin, very well made, but as it's placed near the toilet I end up seeing a bulbous, distorted reflection of me naked in the polished convex top when I have a wee.

This is the 2nd wesco bin that i have ordered, yes they are expensive but are really well made and they continue to be the most stylish retro waste bins out there. I bought this one primarily for the compostable 10L waste bags that our council now insist on, and they fit perfectly.

I love Wesco bins, having used them in my retail bakeries in Madrid. They are worth the steep price as they last for years and are an excellent example of German engineering and manufacturing

This is our second set of Wesco's. Just very well made, look good and fit for purpose. What else can you say? It's only a litter bin!
