The product was easy to assemble and take apart. It's really bright and has a good 3pm or 4pm light feel. The lights are also not to hard to have in front of you while filming a video. The carry bag is a nice touch too. Makes packing and storing nice. My only complaint is that the carry bag could be a inch so bigger to make packing it up easier. Also came with really nice name brand bulbs

Setup is as easy as can be the softbox goes up and come down like umbrellas. They click right in to the stands and are secured by a screw. Once the lightbulb is screwed in, it is a matter of attaching the velcro front diffusion cover and it is set.The softbox even comes with a protective case and if using on location, a carrying case is provided as well for travel.Photographers and influencers alike will delight in the versatility and durability that make this softbox a must for anyone serious about capturing the best images possible.

I needed extra lighting for video taping my virtual fitness classes and this worked fine! It took me a few minutes to figure out how to assemble since there were no instructions included, but it wasn't hard to figure out. I bought 1 instead of 2 and the lighting was sufficient. This was my first time purchasing an item like this and I have no previous production or studio lighting experience. This item did the job!

To be clear: it is only a softbox mounted on a light socket, attached to a stand. You can't use it with some other kind of LED or strobe light. It is well made, the lamps work perfectly, and the softbox provides a lovely soft light. It's not the largest box -- 20x28 is just adequate for a single subject. And it's not the brightest light. 85W is not at all blinding, just pretty bright. I wanted that, so it is ok. I haven't felt a need to weigh down the stand yet -- it seems to be able to handle the quite light softbox without tipping over (if you aim the legs right!) I recommend this kit. I'm amazed at how good the cheap light stands coming from China are.

I weight the tripod bottom esp. when the units are fully extended to keep them from tipping over when accidentally bumped. I've been very happy with my units. I own four in total. I use them for lighting both yoga and guitar lessons over Zoom with direct lighting. They are also useful for general room lighting when used as bounce-lighting. I am impressed that the units ship with a replacement bulb. I've never had to replace one yet, but as they are a special over-size bulb, I'm glad that I already have backup bulbs on-hand. The units pack down easily for transport; though, are quite light and can be readily moved around a house or facility without the need to collapse them down.

The media could not be loaded. The hpusn Softbox Lighting Kit is definitely one of a kind. I am so happy I decided to make this purchase. The setup was completely easy, I was able to complete the setup within 20 minutes and one person can do. The Softbox Lightening Kit comes equipped with a stand, the carrying case, 2 lightbulb, a softbox covering and the softbox. The price point was perfect and I will definitely purchase an additional hpusn Softbox Lighting Kit. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a lighting kit.

I ordered this light kit for a new venture on Poshmark. One of the clamps to hold the pole stationary was cracked. Let me say that while this is not the quality of product that a professional photographer would require, if you put the kit together methodically and carefully, it is perfect for what an amateur such as myself needs. Also, this may handle a few dozen breakdowns but not sure that it will handle much more (especially if you're ever in a hurry or not willing to handle carefully.) However, rather than return for the damaged clamp and reorder, I reached out to the seller to replace the part. This is where my review earned 5 stars. They were very polite and communicative. Not only did they agree to replace the part, they offered to send some additional lamps that were labeled as defective for extra parts. All FOUR kits I received were complete and far from defective. The directions that come with the kit are inadequate and ultimately very confusing. My guess is that these 4 "defective" kits were returned by consumers that are not willing to go slow and careful, couldn't digest the instructions, etc. and sent them back in frustration. Take your time with the light kit, it's worth the time and effort. Besides, if something goes wrong, know that this seller will make it right!

I'm not a photographer. I just need a wee bit, ok, a whole lot better DIFFUSED lighting for conducting podcasts. I DID NOT want to spend a lot of money on lighting but the old lamp on the desk wasn't going to get the job done. This unit makes my images (and me) come to life. Really! I highly recommend it. Now, to be clear, this is NOT a professional/industrial type of product. The stand is metal w/plastic wingnuts and grip assembly but it does a GREAT job--if you don't decide to apply too much pressure on the fittings. They grip just fine as intended. Also very much appreciate the on/off switch on the cord meaning you don't have to plug and unplug it. For the price the HPUSN fills the bill and does a great job.
