They were a vital influence on Black Metal, Death Metal and Doom Metal, although their sound is most accurately described as mid-paced, Black Metal. The review is not for the actual music, which is legendary and fantastic. It's that the product itself is just a bare bones (in the strictest sense) cardboard, double CD. For those looking for the extensive liner notes, rare photos, product, don't purchase this. It is not clear this is the very basic product. It doesn't even come with a booklet of any kind. Just the CDs basically.

what an album
Tom gabriel fischer is an amazing artist that knows the truth behind creating beautiful music even if its horrific and traumatic in nature, in fact the more extreme the music the more dificult the emotion to bare and bring out to music to paint his wonderful atmospere's of pain, so im personally thanking the man because to let out such raw music the man must have nerves of steel. being a long time metal head and only discovering hellHammer a short time ago he has reminded of what metal music was and why i like it in the first place and why people actually follow it like religion. excellent guitar work with its own unique and very difficult technique to master your emotion and bring it out for people to experience rather than playing 300 notes a second that mean nothing!!!!!! hats off to you tom gabriel you really are a warrior!

BEFORE CELTIC FROST, THERE WAS HELLHAMMER
The Hellhammer demos and the ep were very good. Demon Entrails is 10 out of 10, a black metal opus. This will definitely please fans of Celtic Frost, Venom, Bathory, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond. This is a must-have.

Enregistré dans un abri nucléaire en 1983, sans budget, cet album nous fait revivre les premiers balbutiements de Celtic Frost. 3 jeunes hommes qui ne vivaient que pour la musique métal et qui ont réaliser leur rêve de la transformer, en créant un style plus extrème. Une période charnière dans l'histoire du métal, un groupe qui en a inspiré plusieurs. Pour plus d'information je recommande le livre ''Only death is real'', de Tom G. Warrior. Bonne écoute et bonne lecture!

Hola. Edicion en 2 cd de las demos historicas de Hellhammer, grupo que sento muchas bases del black-metal. Como veis, son demos pero con mucha chicha. En bonito digipack de estos que hay que tratar con cuidado. Grande, Tom Gabriel Warrior grande.

Une référence aussi morbide que malsaine.
Bien avant que ne débarquent Marduk, Darkthrone et autres Mayhem, il y avait Hellhammer! Une référence culte qui (malheureusement) n'as connu le succès qu'après sa mort. Avec cette compilation, j'ai enfin découvert ces 29 morceaux aussi morbides que malsains qui encore aujourd'hui, sont une base dans la musique extrême et qui ont largement contribué a la création du black metal!

Ottima raccolta contenente le demo: Triumph of Death e Satanic Rites con tanto di copertine originali! L'unica pecca è che non ci sono le lyrics ma alla fine c'è internet.
