Is Folic acid added to this product?

Folic acid is a synthetic form of vitamin B9; the natural form is folate. If you are not fortifying with folic acid shouldn't the label say folate? I ask because I have recently found I have issues processing folic acid and therefore have to eliminate it from my diet. I have been using this product for sometime and would like to continue.

Has anyone taken this and seen, with ph strips for urine, that it significantly does alkalize?

I have not checked with ph strips, but I do feel much better and my husband has experienced his belt losen by several notches since we began drinking Amazing Grass in Nov.'14. We have both noticed a reduction of tartar building on our gums/teeth. The tartar seems to disintegrate before it accumulates. This would be a sign that the product helps to alkalize the body as the dentist told me that excess tartar us a sign of body acidity and I've had probelms with excess tartar for the past 40 years. Perhaps I should try the strips to verify my experience.

How long after opening and being kept in the fridge is it good for?

I keep mine in the fridge for months and have no issues. Always finish it before the expiration date though.
