Awesome
Bought these to refinish wooden chairs. Worked amazingly. I’ve used them to get rust off cast iron. Awesome addition to my tool box. Highly recommend.

Nice alternative to metallic wire cup brushes!
The 3 Inch assorted abrasive nylon cup brushes are a good alternative to standard metallic wire brushes. The biggest benefit is that they don't tend to violently grab materials and destroy projects like metallic brushes. They'll do just about anything the metallic brushes will but, they don't have the tendency of digging into materials as deep. This is important to me because I use them on animal pelts to prepare the pelts for tanning. Too much speed or one wrong move and steel brushes go right through a pelt. These are much more forgiving for this purpose. As for durability, they won't last as long as a metallic wire brush. I do however tend to prefer to results of these brushes and they are less expensive to replace. Their different grits are another advantage over metallic wire as you can use the higher grits when the work becomes more delicate. Being able to prevent damage to a pelt by simply changing out brushes is something unavailable with a steel brush. I like using the nylon cup brushes and consider them a very good value at their cost!

Safer and faster tool to clean and restore your bbq grill
We bbq almost every weekend last year and have left it dirty during the winter break so a lot of the food were cooked/baked in and were tough to clean. I always hear horror stories from steel brush bristles that are left and we’re accidentally injested. I needed a tool that can clean out grill quickly BUT safely. I saw this and gave it a try. None of the bristles she’s and came off! All our grills were cleaned with ease …X grate cast iron, stainless steel 304 rods, and the toughest to clean are the V grate stainless steel! After cleaning I still have have to rinse with water, wipe and dry off. Way much safer than steel brush/bristles grill cleaners!

Best time saver for sanding those hard to reach areas!!
The media could not be loaded. I love this brush set. Some finishes do require furniture stripper. Yes you do get swirl marks. You get swirl marks with a sander too. After I remove the finish I go in and smooth it out by hand sanding. It saves so much time. It takes practice. Please don’t listen to the negative reviews. Those reviewers didn’t want to put in any extra effort. Worth every penny. Use caution with veneer. You will blow through it if you are not careful.

Not as great as I hoped
I was so excited to use these for my furniture flipping. But so far they barely take anything off when I try to remove paint. I am investing in a new drill soon and if that changes things I will update this review but so far with my basic drill, these aren't working well for me.

Functions well
I bought these to use on pool tile. They work great. Worried it would be too abrasive but my tiles were getting so much calcium buildup I didn’t care. After using it didn’t seem to cause any damage and did indeed make good progress on removing calcium buildup.

Gets the job done, careful of swirls.
This definitely got the job done and saved me on a ton of sandpaper.I used citristrip for the first time and had gnarly sticky residue left over.Even after cleaning with mineral spirits. This helped clean up and sand the wood down!I was working with soft wood but be careful of swirls!I would still anticipate using a hand sander to get all the swirls out. However this sucker worked great for getting everything else off first.
