Cargo Ease (CE9548) Heritage Series Cargo Slide, 1200 lb. Load Capacity

Works as advertised. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 long bed and it fits very well in the bed. I also bought a rubber bed mat because I felt the Cargo Ease would bounce and scratch up my bed if I didn't protect it. Installing it was fairly easy. I placed two 8' 2X4's down on the bed first and slid the unit all the way forward on them, then pulled the 2X4's out to make it easier to get it in without scratching everything up. If you don't have a camper shell installed, you probably don't need to do this. I would recommend getting extra washers because I bottomed out the threads on the L shaped bolts while fixing them to the bed box (it will make sense when you see it). the instructions tell you to bolt the unit to the front of your bed box but it also has other mounting points you can use also to attach it to other parts of your bed. I used it this weekend and it was very nice not to have to crawl into my bed (I have a Leer camper shell) to get all my tools out. It's pretty heavy and it's not something that you would put in and take out on a regular basis in my opinion. It looks like there would still be enough room in my truck bed to install a custom carpet kit/shelf and cabinet kit over the wheel wells but I haven't tried this yet.

Excellent tool for my tools. Much easier to access. Installation is a pain on my Ford. MMight be easier on other makes.
