This is a neat light bar. Half lights up ber the other half white. They do not alternate colors in a circular pattern, it's just back and forth. The patterns however can be changed from the button on the cigarette plug. Very bright. Cord is pretty thick and held up to being closed in the door well. This is magnetic so if your roof is aluminum it might not work for you.
