Nice recipes, menu planning and shopping list are done for you
I bought this for my adult son who is an avid slow cooker chef. He's used other cookbooks in this series with success, so I thought he'd appreciate this one. He does do weekly menu planning and shopping, so the way this book is laid out-- with a weekly meal plan and shopping list-- is very handy. The basic premise is that a meal is cooked in the slow cooker, and leftovers are then incorporated into other meals throughout the week. The only issue I have with that is that it's hard to be sure that one will have an adequate amount of the original food (chicken or whatever) to complete the other meals, so the idea does not always work in reality. But the recipes are very good and the book is very nicely produced.

Love this cookbook!
I am lazy, so this was meant for me! The format is cool, with a shopping list for the week. I especially love that each week has recipes using leftovers from the night before!!

Love the format
Bought as gift for my newlywed son/daughter in law. Love the format. I would like to see it in 3 ring binder, more durable pages format. But for the price, it is great.

Lots of processed foods as ingredients
The organization is interesting and there are some recipes that look like good starting points, but there are a lot of recipes that use canned soups and other highly processed ingredients, leading to a lot of salt bombs.I am unlikely to follow any of the recipes exactly, but it was 99 cents so it is hard to complain about value.

User unfriendly!!
This cookbook is not easy to use. It’s set up by the week instead of by subject. If you want a soup, you have to look through the index, then flip through the book to see what you want to make. Recipes looked good, but I would never use it because it was very user unfriendly. I returned it.

Try it, you'll like this cookbook.
Love the book, have made several of the dinners, loved them. Slow cookers are so nice to use. Lets you know what to purchase for the week of meals ahead of time, and uses all the extras in another meal at the end.

Great Gift
I'm so excited to gift this to my grandparents who enjoy cooking more simple meals. I skimmed through the recipes and most of them look fairly simple! I do kind of wish I would of gotten one of the 5 ingredient recipe books instead though to reduce the amount of groceries needed but this book is still great!

But others are great. I really like how the menus are planned ...
Some of the recipes in this book are just down right nasty tasting. But others are great. I really like how the menus are planned and seem to flow into one another.
