Genuine Jeep Accessories 82212400 Chrome Exhaust Tip

One of the best vehicle accessories I have ever purchased. Seriously, this exhaust tip fit EXACTLY, was easy to "install," and adds a nice flair to the rear of my vehicle. I mounted this on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo E. As a couple of others have mentioned, having a deep socket wrench will help make tightening the pipe clamp much easier - especially if you want to semi-hide the clamp assembly on the top side of the exhaust pipe. Frankly, if you didn't know I added this chrome tip on after-market, you'd probably assume it was factory-installed. I don't know how much variation there might be between one stock exhaust pipe versus another, but if your exhaust pipe's diameter is like mine, then this chrome tip will slide right on snugly and perfectly. I feel it was $70ish well spent and I hope your experience is as good as mine if you choose to buy it.

The chrome tip is very high quality and adds a little bling to my Laredo. I do agree with other reviewers that the attaching clamp provided shows a little no matter what position it is in. I have mine mounted with the nut in the 12 o'clock position which is the least obvious. To make it a custom mount, have the tip tack welded at a muffler shop and dump the clamp. The only reason I didn't give five stars is the clamp.

This is a solid chrome tip for Laredo owners which installs in five minutes. It looks great because you can adjust it to extend past the bumper as much as you want. When installed it looks better that factory because you can see more of it. On the clamp showing, just install it with the screw at the very top and then you have to be sitting on the ground and really looking for it to see it.

Item fit perfectly. Took only a few minutes to put on. Shipping was also fast. I ordered on Saturday and received Monday.

Installation was a snap, but this exhaust tip can't be placed further into the bumper because the clamp will not fit. In addition, you can easily notice the clamp from the back. As a result, it doesn't look as a factory install. As soon as I can, I will weld it to the exhaust tube. Otherwise, great product!

The back end of the Durango just looked like it was missing something because the exhaust tip tucked into the bumper and just looked bad. Took 5 minutes to install this and it looks much better now. Quick and easy DIY upgrade.

Fit and looked good on my 2014 Durango, had to re-tighten 3 times before it finally stayed put.

Well made, high quality exhaust tip that installed in minutes with a heavy-duty clamp. Positioned bolt at 12 o'clock, but be sure to have a deep socket. Looks great.
