I bought this dehumidifier for my basement. I have a finished area that has been collecting some moisture. The room started to have a musky smell and the hardwood always felt damp. It seems to collect water at a decent rate, it is small and inconspicuous, but I'm not sure it's cut out for the size space given in the specs. I like the size, the fact that it's quiet and of course the price, and my hydrometer would suggest it is doing a decent job even when I don't have my AC running. We'll see how long it lasts.
